I suggested something to steam crave once myself. Something about a two post deck and screws that capture rather than clip wire.
The response I got left me with the impression that riding lawn mowers aren't very common in China.

I'm really really looking into this as my first "squank" device ...those anyone else have any info on this? Thanks in advance

They have shipped out final prototype to testers and reviewers for testing. We should see some preview possibly next week.
Having tried my first squonking device, a Reo Grand, really looking forward to this one. Hope it won't be too heavy, not like S Body S-CA 3, please...

Some of the testers have received the squank box. They have mentioned that there's some bugs which they have reported to Stream Crave but overall, they have commented that the vape is awesome with the combination of the aromamizer rda BF.

Steam Crave announced that the 1st 100 batch is scheduled to be shipped next week. They have resolved the issues reported by the testers (mainly physical issues) and since it's firmware upgradable, patches can be released subsequently.
I don't think you'll receive a notification. It's best to check the Steam Crave site on the status of the order.
Does yours still have the 10 minute shut-off ?
I believe they going to look at getting rid of that and making the 510 sprung loaded for the next batch.
I emailed them, complaining about the current one. What I was told was that the new one was going to be ready at the end of October. It will feature a spring loaded 510 and new firmware.
Received mine yesterday. Not a very good mod. Tube doesn't fit bottle quite snug enough. When squanking it squanks the air out the gap between tube and bottle, not your juice up the tube. The need to unlock the mod is very annoying. As it sits right now, I would recommend staying away from this mod.
The good part is that steam crave acknowledge the issues and is rectifying it. For consumers who have purchased the 1st gen mods, they are willing to replace it with the rectified unit. Send an email to stream crave to report your issues.
Received an email from Maggie at Steam Crave. They will be sending out a replacement unit with upgraded firmware. They are also aware of the tube issue. You have to love their responsiveness to issues.
