Hello my friend, in case u dont know, u have to make the coils on the wick tide enough begining to make the coils from the braid of the 2 wires, actually it depends on what ohm exactly is ur resistance and on what mod u are using it, perhaps, if u have a 1,2ohm resistance if u vape at 5Volts u will vape only burned wire....

The coil that burned was the original coil and wick that came with the unit. But I will remember this when I actually get to install the wick I made that I never got to put on. I use a 3.7 volt device.

Its a weird thing that happened to a weird person, If there is a one in a billion potential problem or "bad egg" out there, I somehow am the lucky one that will get it. Any way, It is all on its way to be better. I love the Steam Machine and it will soon be back to working order thanks to the good people at Atmomixani and Kalifan.

I cant leave anything well, alone. I was enjoying my premade wick and coil just fine... then the wild hair. I tore the thing apart and made a new wick/coil.

These are not my favorite to rebuild, but I don't play well with Gene style atomizers, just doesn't give me the flavor profile I am looking for. So, I have to like this one. I will say, in the first 10 minutes I was cursing Kalafan's name for making me want one of these so damn bad.

Anyway, my first attempt with a 5 wrap. Came out to 2.8 ohms, RIGHT where I wanted it to be. Popped it on the ole ProVari and instant bliss!

Great Success!!

A bit big on a ProVari, but I used one of those super T mega long tips on it regularly, so it feels "normal" to me.

Completely non informative video short:

(Going to post this post.... er.. yeah in the Official Thread for this Atomizer as well, since I don't know what happens to this thread once the CO-OP is closed)

Have to say that the "Gini" is a grat Genesis approach with a very high built quality as all Steam Machine atty's.

U can use the same base u already have, just put on the update, set up, n ready to vape !!!

Also u can keep ur genesis set up, puling off the update and use again the base as VST or sokolataki (drip mode) seting up a wick coil set up.

3 in 1 !!!

sorry haven't been online to much, moving IRL, so my time online is lessened temporarily.

tips :

I have noticed that if you use a thicker wire, it will be hard to press in, you don't have to press the metal holder that goes around the ceramic cup/ceramic stem to making it flush, as long as it's snug, it looks funny as its not flush to the rim of the metal ring that holds the wire and ceramic cup, but still functions. I have tried other types of wires, namely A-1 kanthal types. So don't force it to be flush. For thicker wires, mines are almost near the half vs being totally flush to ceramic rim to metal ring rim. The supplied wire doesn't have this problem.

to get out the metal ring that holds the ceramic cup, you can use a minus screwdriver or a small pliers to loosening that metal ring that holds the ceramic up/wire.

you dont need alot of wire to even go underneath the stem, as long as the wire your using is snug to the side of the ceramic and the metal ring that holds the wire in place, I think its just bent underneath the stem as to use it as an anchor to help you keep the wire in place after you make it, the metal ring snug for the wire. I cut my wire where it just starts to bend underneath the stem with a nail clipper.

when I first got dry hits, I just added more filler, it lessened it. I'm using 50/50 blends.

I'm also good for the Gini update. What a work of art this is and works awesome out of box. Kudos to the 'Greek guys'. I was wondering what kalison was saying with the 'pluming parts'. LOLOL!

Again, thanks, atmomixani, and kalafan. Fine stuff. You guys are amazing. Thanks again for kalafan offering it on co-op.

EDIT: I think more co-ops are in order here. Thanks.

Greece. You just missed the CO-OP :(

Contact kalafan, maybe he can help you out.

Ya, Im crushed to see I just missed out. Oh well, no surprise. That always seems to happen. If you saw the pipe I am talking about you would understand why it has to be a Steam Machine. Nothing much else will work on it as far as rebuildable and still keep a clean look. Im kinda timid to PM him since there was a clear deadline and I obviously missed it. My bad. Plus Im sure he gets lots of PM's. I might PM him anyhow in case he has an extra somehow.

On another note, Im trying to find the Atomixani website but for some reason Im having a hard time. I dont mind paying the non co op price but I cant seem to get the site up.
