I like many people tend to vape my liquids right as I make them, or get them in the mail without much delay. But lately I have taken up the habit of letting my liquids steep. While I have noticed mixed results, I can say it does bring together some of my diy mixes much better. And seems to help evaporate some of the sharper tasting compounds from some flavorings.

What I have been doing is I mix up a bottle, cap it and give it a vigorous shake. I then uncap it leaving it totally open for 24 hours, giving it another good shake halfway through. I then cap the bottle and toss it in my liquid bin and let it set for about a week.

I have found some previously harsh flavors are now rather yummy, how about you guys... do you steep?

Sometimes I don't really have a choice but to wait some flavors out. I find that some flavors can be mixed and promptly enjoyed. For instance, I can mix up PA Cinnamon Red Hots and vape it right away, but if I mix dessert flavors or tobacco flavors I have to wait awhile before it tastes right. Sometimes it takes a week. I think it all depends on the flavor. Tobacco flavors take the longest I think.
