Steeping in cold temperatures?

So I've been steeping some of my e-juices next to my window which has a slight draft. I'm not sure, but I think my extreme ice e-juice has a lessened minty flavor after I let it steep for about a day next to my window. It's not super cold but it is a little cold. Do any of you have any experiences steeping in a somewhat cold temperature? (probably like 40 degrees Farenheit) Is it possible that this lessened the flavor?

I know getting that cold would be similar to refrigeration - I have the same issue here - it isnt purposeful - but there are certainly cold spots in the house!

Make sure if they are near your window that they are not in direct sunlight. It should be stored somewhere darkish. I put mine in a kitchen drawer thats on a totally interior wall as that seems to be one of the few places they arent super cold when I check on them.

I dont know how much (if any) being that cold will affect it - but I try to avoid it when I can.
