I have only been DIY for about three months (OK, it really is 5) and WL is just my "go-to" place...
Too late now...
There arent too bad on other stuff. I placed an order for a couple liters of HCL reagents (no nic) for my Nicotine test kit from them on Sunday and they shipped yesterday.
Yes, I will use my own glass beakers and bottles for the mixing/cooking. I will then use those to fill the 10ml plastic bottles.
Each set will contain one 10ml bottle labeled:
- Control sample (uncooked)
- Sample A
- Sample B
I will not disclose which process A or B is until testers report their conclusions, but I will label the Control (uncooked) sample.
I will time the testing so that I can ship the day following the tests to minimize the effect of natural aging, I suggest USPS Priority.
What final recipe did you guys land on?
What ratio of PG/VG would you like me to use? I use:
I use "Essential Depot" VG and PG.
How many mg/l of Nic do you want?
Which Nic would you like? I have:
RTS 10% in PG
WL 3.6% in PG
Darkside 99.7% no dillutant
My Strawberry test was a 50/50 mix at 36mg/l using RTS nic.
I am not sure if the ratios, potency, or nic source effect the speed aging in any way. Really doesnt matter I guess, we are trying to identify the better aging method for this particular recipe regardless.

OK Folks, got the flavorings and bottles on Monday, sorry but last 2 nights were already booked. Company dinner on Monday night and last night I had to box up an ECF Co-op for a bunch of DNA30s.

Nobody has given me a final recipe, please speak up! I intend to do this trial tomorrow evening and ship the results out on Friday.
If I dont hear anything I will make it like this:

- Put 30ml into 3 different glass bottles.
- Steep one bottle in the Ultrasonic at 150f for 3 hours
- Steep one bottle in the Crock Pot at 150f for 3 hours
- Dispense results into 10ml plastic bottles labeled: Control Sample (unsteeped), Sample A, and Sample B.
- Ship 3 sets of samples out the next day.
Still need the Postage and Addresses for the three samplers.........
Upon sampling I propose that the 3 samplers then post which one tasted better to them, or if there was even any difference.
There is no right/wrong, just personal preference.

I'm on a restricted bandwidth so I haven't been able to read through the whole topic.
I'm testing a theory tomorrow and will post here with results. It has been suggested to me that using small hard plastic balls in my ultrasonic bath instead of water would be more efficient in that more of the energy would reach my mix.
I'm not confident but I'm definitely gonna give it a try.

I am not an expert by any means, but running the cleaner without liquid at all wouldn't that burn the thing up???
