Has AmandaD turned in her choices?

Is she coming back with more than this?

I always find juice to be muted in top coil tanks, and the Tritons are no exception. I've been going back and forth between the three for 10 minutes, with multiple glasses of water, and I'm having a very hard time differentiating between the three. Since the tanks are colored, I can't differentiate the color either, so while I have a vague idea that one may be the CS the difference is in fact pretty negligible at this stage.

Sample A = Crock Pot
Sample B = Ultrasonic

This has been a interesting evaluation.

Results seem to be so close that one could surmise that either method is just as good. A few gave nudge one way or the other, but even those nudges were pretty much split.

The really curious thing was when I first finished the cooking, the Crock Pot was noticably darker than the Ultrasonic, but now folks are reporting that the Ultrasonic is darker.

So Cal
OMG so sorry to be absent - 24mg....no wonder....LOL I think I may never be able to vape again!

I honestly couldn't tell which was which, but then again, I could hardly vape it. Interesting, it wasn't nearly as harsh as I would expect 24mg to be!

I still don't know which sample is which - mine are labeled with animal names!

I can tell you that, having removed the tape, 'birdie' is slightly darker!

Looks like RocketPuppy is still at "happy-hour". She relabeled those...

What is interesting to me is that in a regular clearo the difference is so negligible that steeping at all is probably not worth it. However, when did this start - 2 weeks ago?

I regularly make an RY4 and AP that I steep - I was SURE it needed it. It definitely is too light after a couple of days. But now I wonder how long it really needs to steep.

Heck - how long does nic sick last - I have never had this since I started vaping.........LOLOL (I can't believe I thought it was 6mg)

I am incredible happy that it is that close, because I have an Ultrasonic with just an 8 minute timer, but my wife has a crock pot, which is rarely used.

A big thank you for doing all the work and another big thank you to those who shipped the second round out.
Cheers.

The recipe!
50/50 PG/VG base
24 mg/l Nic
DRY4 7%
Caramel 2%
Cream 2%

Dry4 is pretty sweet as it is so I would drop the caramel to 1%. 2% may further mask the tobacco taste in the DRY4. That would also be closer to mike's samples.

Edit: After looking back on mikes recipe it was 2% caramel so disregard my suggestion and yes mike I know it was my recipe and I just put my foot in my mouth again:)

Is there anybody who hasnt chimed in yet?

My son revealed the samples that he rebottled after my second evaluation and my findings still remained the same as my first report. B being smoother then A and the control sample being the harshest and least flavorful. B also was only slightly more flavorful then A and I figure that was due to it being smoother then A. Hope that makes sense.

That was my guess that B was the UC due to the slight darker color when I first sampled it. I since poured the A and B samples back into the original bottles and now both A & B are the same shade of amber. My thinking is that cavitation and heat provided by the UC has only the slightest of advantage over heat alone but either method work almost equally as well.
