I never take the caps off. When I get new juices...I just stick them in my box and leave them for a couple weeks. The only ones I have found that are good to go are Nite Lite Vapor (he premixes and sells about once a month), and some of the samples I have received from HHV have been pretty good right out of the mailbox. In general, though, I like them much better after 2 weeks.
