Steve Heilig at it again

One statement bugged me. Are any kids getting e-cigs and then deciding to smoke? I started smoking when I was 13, and remember what it was like. Really, I barely had enough cash to buy smokes. What kid in his or her right mind would order an e-cig kit on line for 45 or more dollars when he/she can get a pack of smokes around the corner for 8 bucks (or less)? This guy has been smoking something, and it obviously isn't cigarettes!

It goes further than that.
  1. Let's say a kid did find a credit card and managed to order an e-cig--is there any reason he would have to use nicotine instead of just getting the flavor that is supposedly appealing to children?
  2. If a child did use an e-cig with nicotine, is there any reason to believe that he could or would become addicted to pharmaceutical nicotine without any of the other potentially addictive and habit reinforcing chemicals such as MAOIs found in tobacco smoke??
  3. If a child did use and inexplicably become addicted to an e-cig with nicotine, is there any reason to believe that he would suddenly decide to forgo the supposedly child-friendly flavors and be attracted to the taste of burning tobacco leaves???

How is this gateway thing supposed to work?:facepalm:
