SVD? ( looks ....ty imo with the telescope being thicker)
SID? cant find much about this one
Vamo v5?

Got a friend with an SID, and she really loves it. I would probably take it over the Vamo; the Vamo I owned was press-fit together just below the head section, and kept coming apart. It couldn't take abuse. The SID seems to me to be more sturdy. I don't care for the MVP because of the button placement; very awkward. And the MVP connector gave me issues, at least with the version 1 unit. Can't speak for the SVD though; never owned one, but it does look nice, and should be sturdy.

The bottom line is, no matter what mod you buy to upgrade from the eGo Twist, you'll LOVE it. So don't stress over the selection. ;) All of those tube mods are similar; I have been using a cheap Vamo from Fasttech constantly, every single day, and it hasn't let me down. And previous to that I was using a Lavatube 2 that cost over twice as much money, and it did nothing the Vamo couldn't do. If you want to make the choice simple, and save a few bucks, the Vamo is fine. In my opinion (other people may differ), none of the tube mods have any features or characteristics that make them DRASTICALLY stand out from the competition. They're all good, and you'll be excited with using any of them.

With that said, in my personal adventures, I just decided to order an MVP 2 yesterday. I want to spice up my vaping and use a device a different shape... not to mention that the battery capacity (2600 mah) is higher than any of the 18650 batteries I have. I also like that you recharge the device itself, rather than constantly swapping out batteries, loading up and monitoring a separate charger plugged into the wall, etc. Even the video reviewers on YouTube that mention the voltage of the MVP not being 100% accurate still love the thing and strongly recommend buying it.

But again... they're all great and similar devices. Grab whichever you think is the "coolest", fire it up, and it'll blow your Twist away. Enjoy!

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
If you can afford to buy something solid and dependable and don't really care about collecting or changing it up, buy a Reo or a ProVari and just focus on delivery systems and bling. Both models - completely different types of units and entirely different animals - will be a longer-lasting investment that will hold their resale value on the off chance you feel the need to sell them.

If your budget is more modest, head for something Innokin....read the APV forums and see which models have the least amount of complaints and issues and decide accordingly.

If your budget is more flexible and you see different devices you like the look of, do the read the APV thing and buy one here and a different one there and become a collector and love ALL the devices, shaking things up by using different ones at different times of day or on different days.

Really, vaping is a very individualized experience and is as complex or as simple as you want it to be. You can't go TOO far wrong if you do a little research before purchasing because you will learn all the ins and outs of vaping on your journey.

Ego batteries are great beginner devices but they ARE disposable batteries when it comes down to it and you can either look at them like that and plan accordingly or upgrade to something that uses rechargeable batteries that work out to be cheaper in the end. Figure out what your needs are and how much effort and/or money you want to expend and buy accordingly.

The journey to a reliable, tasty vape is just as much fun as arriving at your destination.

mmm yeah the mvp is at least 60 euros here. cant order from 101. but im digging the look of the sid too. is it worth?

I have a purple SID that I really like -- I have both the 18650 and 18350 battery tubes for it so I can either go long with good battery life or short for feel in my hand. I haven't had any trouble with it - had mine about a month now. I don't use it daily b/c I have several and switch off what I'm using - but I like my SID.

I also have an EVIC which I probably use more than the SID - I have both the regular EVIC VV and the EVIC easy control head - personally I like the easy control head better than the SID or the EVIC VV - only because I don't have to mess with setting it - I'm lazy. But the VV on the SID and EVIC is nice -

In order of my preference:
1. MVP2
2. SiD
3. eVic

I use Protank 2's with all of them, but the MVP is the best of the 3 for me, longer battery charge <that's usually 2 days worth, and the price you can't beat.
Delivery systems can make all the difference in an APV's performance.

Personally, I don't use Protanks anymore because they require too much fussing around for my taste but I want to point out to anyone still learning that if they DO try using a bottom coil tank that it won't necessarily be the device itself that is making them dissatisfied and I would urge them to try something else before hating it.

When I was faced with choosing my first mod I narrowed it down to the the SVD and the MVP 2. In the end the best choice was the MVP 2. It gave me all the great features, battery longevity, less fuss, durability, and great ECF reviews. Also, the best price. It's a win win. Good luck finding what's best for you. Happy Vaping :vapor:

My first mod was the MVP... still going as good as new 9 months later. I've also acquired an MVP2 and a VTR... the VTR with a Davide tank is a powerhouse, and actually rivals my little RDA as far as flavor and vapor production. If you want a mod with a removable battery and don't mind a boxy, heavy mod the VTR is great, but the MVP2 for half the price is an even better deal.

Okay, so I am a fan of the eVic, yeah, I said the "e" word. I HIGHLY recommend it. I have one that is my workhorse, it has been going strong since I got it about 6 or 7 months ago. I can't say enough about it. It does have some limitations, but if you can live with those, it is a fantastic device.

The other one I kind of like is the VTR, BUT and it is a huge BUT, some of them have problems with the ohm meter properly reading the resistance of the coil. If you get one of those, like I did, then it can only really be used in VV mode. This makes it much less usable in my opinion. I'm still trying to resolve the issues with the vendor, if you buy one, make sure you get it from a reputable company.

The one that is on my "wish list" is the Sigelei Legend. It looks really sexy, but I'm not sure about the whole "shake to adjust" thing. I'll let you know if I get one how it works out.

HTH!
