I wouldn't slap a nic patch on and also vape, unless you plan on vaping 0 nic juices. The combination of the patch and vaping juices with nic in them could definitely cause you to get sick, and THAT will probably cause a negative psychological effect (vaping = sick) that will turn you off from vaping forever.
I saw a lot of good ideas reading these posts, particularly keeping a daily log of all the cigs you smoke and cutting down weekly or monthly to slowly wean yourself off the analogs. Give yourself X amount of cigs a day and stick to it, then cut down the next week to X-1 or X-2, and so on until you are only having one or two a day. At that point, you should be able to give up the stinkies for good!
Other ideas I liked were upping your nic level a tad in your juices depending on what level you're at right now. If you are using only 6 or 8 mg. juices, crank it up a notch to 12-18 mg. and keep your PV on you at all times. Keep your smokes in your car when you're at work and keep them in your car when you're at home - make it a task to be able to have one and maybe you'll pass on having one when you already have your PV in hand. And by all means:
Keep Trying And Never Give Up!!!!
I've been vaping now for about 2 months and yes, I still smoke the stinkies. BUT, not NEAR as much as I did when I wasn't vaping. Is it a little deflating knowing I still give in to the occasional cig? Yes. But knowing I am on a good path to finally quitting after 25 years of smoking 2+ PAD and knowing full well that BT specifically designs and crafts those cigs to keep me dependent on them and making them very difficult to put down, I feel like I'm making great strides when I know I'm smoking only 5 or so cigs a day! Point is, I'm struggling along with you as well are many members on this forum. Together as our own support group, we can help each other quit one person at a time!!
