Still not feeling well, not sure what it is.

I have been told it's too much nic, pg allergy, or I may just have a bug. I do know I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago and caught a cold from there. Thought it would be gone by now but still have a cough and some stuffiness off and on but yesterday my throat was scratchy and felt like there was a lump in it. Any ways, I just don't feel right. My whole body feels achy and icky. Nausea off and on, headache off and on, my eyes and eyesight are off, scattered brain, can't focus, and can't concentrate. I have no clue what it is, could be a bug, could be something from vaping, I don't know. All I know is it started happening about 3 days after I started officially vaping. I was still smoking about 5 cigs a day while vaping but since yesterday I went back to smoking and no vaping. I feel like I have the flu without the fever (as of yet). So being this is new to me, I'm freaked out right now and not sure what to think or do. May go to the doctor tomorrow if I feel the same.

what quantity of ciggies were you smoking before you started vaping? and do you know what nicotine level your juice is and how much PG/VG the ratio is of the juice?
sounds like your nic level is a bit hi from your prognosis ... and plus cutting back on the ciggies also offers some withdrawls since its just not nicotine you are depriving yourself of.....

The bolded part is most likely the real culprit. I'm not trying to discount your concerns, but people tend to automatically blame vaping for everything, but a lot of times it is something outside of that, and you have the perfect setup. If it were the vaping, it would have very likely gotten a lot better already since you said you switched back to smoking with no vaping yesterday. I'm glad you are going back to the doctor. Getting sick from something in the hospital is actually very serious. Keeping good thoughts for you.

My nic level is 16mg with a 50/50 ratio. I caught the cold two weeks ago while I was there. So yeah that makes sense, but just recently I showed new and different symptoms. With my cold it was a standard cold, nasal drip, sore throat, congested, and cough. The cough hasn't gone away. I ruled out the whole "quitting flu" since I picked up smoking again and it's not getting any better. Maybe it is just a bug. I'm not really blaming the vaping, just curious since it's so new and there isn't much out there as far as the effects on people. Again, if I don't feel better by tomorrow I'm gonna go up to my local clinic and maybe they can give in insight on what the heck is going on. lol. Right now I just feel really sick, still have an appetite some what and eating and pounding fluids.

I've been feeling a bit 'off' for about 2 weeks...don't feel very well myself and I've been vaping for 18 months. There's really no telling what it is until you go to the doc to rule out a bug or an infection that could have occurred from being sick. Some chest colds can turn into pneumonia, I've had that happen. I hope you get to feeling better and let us know what's going on.

The answers don't change just because you start a new thread. "I feel like I have the flu without the fever " among other symptoms you list is how a lot of people describe a bad untreated allergy day. And I ask the same question in this thread that I asked in the other one: Have you ever had allergy tests done?

This place cannot give medical advice for what may be medical issues. (And no, before someone asks an increase in the interest rate on your mortgage is not vaping related either.) You need to seek medical input. Since you can't commit at this point to smoking - or vaping - or smoking - that makes it impossible for us to provide any reasonable input.

I agree that something got in the hospital is a likely culprit. However, remember that once you quit smoking 100% your body will begin to detox itself and try to acheive a new level of homeostasis. Your body has become accustom to functioning with the presence of chemicals from cigs. Once the cigs are gone your body has to readjust to functioning without the chemicals.

Detox is different for every person. It hit me HARD about a month after going to only vaping. I felt like I had every strain of flu virus, my skin broke out horribly, I had shortness of breath, and mental confusion. This lasted for about a week and then began to taper off. Now I feel better than I have in years. Make sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

Hope you get to feeling better soon. Sometimes we have to get worse before we get better.

Wow, there really was no need for rudeness! I'm just concerned is all. Some people can vape and some people just can't. It could be a bug, nic over dose, pg or vg allergy, "quitters flu, etc. I just wanted to see if anyone had anything similar is all. Sheesh. And as I recall from my post yesterday, I didn't see anything about anyone asking about allergies. Yes, I have had an allergy test done, I know what I am allergic to. I also know what it feels like when my allergies act up, and this is nothing like that. Also, as you can tell since I am in the new member thread, I am a new member. I have no clue how to work these threads, who sees what, and who reads what. I am new at all of this! Nonetheless, if I feel this way tomorrow than I will be going to the doctor. I am not one of those that goes to the doctor as soon as I don't feel well. I wait it out a day or two and see if I get better. I never asked for medical advice. Just opinions, advice, and similar situations. That is all.

I assume it's Ebola and then work backwards. Maybe flu. Could be a cold too or just slept awkward.

BTW, it's as well to ask these things - i smoked for 30 years and had nothing wrong with me, since i never saw a doctor. Then i had high BP, dental issues, by which i mean 'you're pulling how many??' and so on.
Apparently cigarettes 'mask' this! But regardless there is a less toothy light at the end of the tunnel and if in doubt, annoy the quack!

I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure it is an unwellness of some kind. :)
