What I see coming is control of the internet, controls on shipping, and taxes up the wazoo because we need someone else to tell us how to live. Prepare accordingly.
That unfortunately has been coming faster and faster these days..
We allow it willingly.mobile internet and news at our fingertips..

Another big reason is,this goes on at all ages everywhere..So many other things are going on around these people other than what should be going on..
Them communicating with each other..

Myself i don't own a cell phone..
I never could stand people being able to reach me on a beeper when those were around,i sure didn't like them being able to call me no matter where i was at any moment when bag phones came out..
Cell phone with internet and facebook and all the other stuff that comes with that? Not a chance in hell i'm dipping into that game lol

With the receipt of my latest order, I now have a two-year supply of liquid, cartomizers and batteries -- all in rotation, of course. From this point on, I'll order based on what's been used. When it arrives, it'll go to the back of the bus.

If the FDA succeeds, I'll have two years to kick the habit. One thing's for sure, they will never collect another tobacco tax Dollar from me again.

I'm a little confused here. In the event of a vaping apocalypse, do you want to be the guy with stock piles of vaping stuff or the guy with stock piles of weaponry and ammo to lay siege to the guy with the stock piles of vaping stuff? Me, I'm going the weapons route. I've already formed a band of rag tag, ex-navy seal vapors who will join me on the road in a caravan that will make the raiders in Mad Max seem like the short bus parade to the special school up the street. Our first target will be Roar Vapor to plunder their delicious fruity recipes and components. From there we will swing outward across the nation taking down any vape shops, juice makers or vaping preppers in our path. We will be unstoppable with our network of land, sea and air support from the vaping brother hood on military specialists and you will call me Emperor Myst - Lord of the Vape!

Either that or I could go the easy route and just buy enough rebuildable and DIY stuff to keep me going for a very long while. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Somewhere out there
I'm 66 now, and I have enough 100 mg./ml. rocket fuel in my freezer to last me until I'm 95.

I do some DIYing, and when the vapocalypse comes, everything I vape will be DIY. The FDA can't ban suitable flavoings.

I'm happy enough with Vision Vivi Novas and have about 100 of them stockpiled. I've learned to wind my own coils and will continue to make those until my coordination and/or vision give out. If that happens, I have about 300 heads stockpiled.

Finally, I have about 15 LavaTubes and Vamos stockpiled, but they have a habit of calling it a life in a year or two. So, I've embarked on a Provari buying program: one per month for the foreseeable future.

Eventually, 18650 batteries might become obsolete. If that happens, I keep dead LavaTubes and Vamos (it's usually the buttons that fail, while the other innards remain good) for building my own wooden mods to fit whatever kind of battery comes down the pike.

Am I missing anything?

I thought I was well prepared. Until I read the above post.

I think I have enough stuff to last until I reach retirement age (not all that far off). My crystal ball isn't good enough to let me see if I'll still want to keep vaping after that. Somehow I think without job stresses, I won't care as much. On the other hand, if research continues to support the idea that nicotine is protective against alzheimers, perhaps I'll choose to keep using nicotine.

Technically yes all they can regulate is the nic base.

HOWEVER. If you read the proposal carefully it clearly states aANYTHING intended to be used as a complete nicotine delivery "device" falls under their rule. This means anything marketed for nicotine delivery falls under their control. An easy loophole is to change the marketing. It is no longer a mod...it is a flashlight that includes this handy dandy 510 adaptor to "suit your needs" lol. Or selling an RBA unassembled OR market it as an aromizer or aromarizer for in home use to scent the air and your golden. Like I said, their proposal has loopholes like a sieve

congress needs to step in and remove this clause because it violates the constitution and also it is a gross overstepping of regulatory boundaries.

I have not read the entire proposal.
Given your understanding then,
if I purchase a PV to vape peach juice,
the FDATP is still in control?
No tobacco is involved.
Where's the line? None explicit?
Will lithium batteries, resistance wire, and cotton balls
also soon be subject to FDATP control & regulation?

Yes, the phrase "intended to be used" is quite presumptive.

I finished securing my vaping stash over a year ago now. About every six months I take an inventory of my supplies and determine if anything needs replenishing. I'll continue that plan for as long as thats possible. Occasionally I purchase a new vaping toy just for the fun of it, but that doesn't happen very often anymore.

For me its a win-win situation no matter what happens to our vaping world in the future. Having recently entered retirement mode it's nice knowing that I can continue vaping for a very long time without having to spend very much money to do so if we are lucky and there aren't major changes coming to our vaping world in the next few years. If there is an apocalypse, then I'm well prepared :)

The toys in our vaping world change rapidly. My stash works for me because I have no doubt I'll still be content vaping with the same toys I use today 10 or 20 years from now. My stash wouldn't work well for someone that feels the need to always be using the newest products in the vaping world. For those people, IHO, it's too early to be creating their apocalypse stash quite yet.
