I fit in my own category as well. I used to smoke the occasional premium cigar and pipe. My wife hated the smell it left on me and worried I was putting junk in my body. I switched to vaping to continue the experience without all the junk. Plus I save bundles of money and can do it in the house with very few complaints!

I think you got the majority of us in those three groups.

I fall in 2. I was trying vaping to see if I would like it and since I love smoking, didn't take it as a way out of smoking. And if I was lowering my consumption of cigarettes, all the better for my health. Because I had no real motivation besides curiosity, there was no pressure to "switch"

I now vape 99% of the time. But I still like that occasional cigarette and I see no reason to deprive myself. Great in moderation.

I had been off cigs for a month before I bought my SDK, which then sent me down this current path of constant purchases.

:p

I must say there was more appeal to PVs because of the interchangeable parts and all the customized configurations. With cigarettes, you choose your brand and their sub-style. Thats it. Boring. That doesn't even bring forward the fact of practically unlimited flavors for PVs.

I've been into collecting glass for awhile, and its got the same kind of customization etc.
