That is really a matter of opinion. Some will tell you there is not difference (most DIY'ers). I think you get what you pay for. The base and the flavorings make the juice so if that is bottom barrel cheap stuff the juice will reflect that. MBV is very cheap and I think it taste like it. There are quality juices out there that do not cost an arm and a leg. Ahlusion, The Plume Room and HighBrow are all very good and not over the top expensive

I'm wary of stuff thats mixed up in brick and mortars around here. I've been gifted a few local brews and they've all been terrible. So I tend to order online.

I recommend finding some cheapies from budget vendors that you enjoy and then spend more on premium juices that you enjoy every now and then. For example, I am vaping some flavors from Killer Juice that are decent budget juices in that they're light, clean and fruity. I have some others from MBV that I enjoy too. Meanwhile I have Nicoticket's H1N1, Bionic's Groundbreaking, Rocket Fuel's Ol' River and some NETs from Good Ejuice steeping away because I can't stand cheap, artificial-tasting tobaccos--so I pay more for these and enjoy them sparingly in the evening.

It's just like food--I can't eat at a $30/plate restaurant for every meal but I can enjoy it sometimes. In the meantime I'll eat more modestly at places that serve healthy fare.

I think that as far as success rates go, I like and dislike just as many "premium" juices as "cheap" juices. Example: If I order 5 bottles from MBV, and 5 bottles from *Insert premium vendor here*, I will like 2 of each category no matter what, and will dislike 3 from each category no matter what.

It's about variety of flavors. Some vendors, cheap or premium, are better at certain things that others. Example: I think MBV does a great job with banana flavors and menthol flavors. But for bakery and custards, I prefer different brands like Neckbeard, Big Willies, and Derp Sauce.

For fruity stuff, I prefer AiV.

For complex and unusual, I prefer Fuzion.

Best thing to do is just try some out and see what works for you. It is important to keep an open mind about this kind of stuff. Think about it....all the brands essentially have the same ingredients. The main difference being the flavorings.

My sentiments exactly! I gave my B&m my business when getting started. In return I direct everyone there that asks me "how do I get started"
I hope and pray I am never in the position to be stuck buying there again.

I'll always be in debt to my local B&M for getting me started, but once you get juice from a premium vendor online, at a better price, there is no going back.

Well now even though I have nothing but respect for SchmidtyKy, I respectfully disagree. If you try one place (please no matter the deal, get only a couple SMALL sizes) and you do not like them, go on to a new place. If you do not like the first set I feel chances are you will not like the next set (same base, same flavorings)

I feel the same exactly
Some favs from the places I mentioned:
Ahlusion-Lemon Cream, Tarte Tatin Apple, Shipwreck, Son of a Peach- (Always be sure to change the ratio to 50/50 or 70/30)
The Plume Room-Banana Pudding, Burley and Candy, Cinnamon Sweetroll
Highbrow-Cheesecake Torte, Caramel Cake, Apricot.

Another vendor that I have tried recently and like is "the Vapor Hut"

Thanks chanelvaps, I checked out all 3 of your suggestions and they are all in my wheelhouse. I just refuse to pay over $20 for a 30ml of anyone's juice. I just think it's ridiculous. I understand these are premium liquids but know what 30 ml costs to produce.

My only "premium" that I've tried is Five Pawns Castle Long. I'm rationing it until I get DIY supplies to try to recreate it in some fashion. I have a great B&M whose prices aren't outrageous ($6/10mL, $13.25/30mL) I usually swing for the fences when they do $10/30 mL or 30% off their 30mL.

My DIY is on its way. If I can come up with something vapeable for less than $0.05/mL, I'll be pretty stoked.

Yes, this was simply my experience. Of course, YMMV. :)

I have heard that even the most frugal will spring for that one. Good luck re-creating it. You can sell it :)
