I'm one month into vaping now, and I've noticed when I clean my 510 mega attys (with ISO alcohol) and it let it dry out - the rockwool (or whatever it is) must always have a little juice left in it no matter how much time I've spent cleaning and/or soaking because when I grab it out of storage to use it takes a good 8 hours or so in contact with juice to rehydrate the wool and get working again correctly.

I've tried storing them with a drip of juice to keep it wet, but that also seems to dry out and take a while to rehydrate too - although not nearly as bad as just storing it after the alcohol soak/swish/blow out cleaning. I've even tried storing it in a ziplock to prevent the drying out - no luck.

It occurs to me that if I stored the atty in distilled water I'd avoid the dry out/rehdrate problem but I dont know about any long term corrosion problems that might happen. I can't store it in the alcohol because its already eating the paint off.

Thoughts and anybody tried this?
