Strange Looks from People

I don't vape in public areas anymore (except at our local bar) to eliminate the strange looks from idiots that automatically thought I was smoking drugs or something!!
It started getting irratating constantly having to explain what I was using, even after handing them a V4L card that clearly explained it all...urgggggggg..

I do plan on getting a reusable ecig that looks like a real cig sometime soon though, that way I can vape in peace in public areas on them days that I just don't feel like being bothered!!

As far as cops, never had any problems as of yet. One did do a longggg double take when we were at a red light next to him but, I continued on vaping and I'm guessing he figured out what it was on his own...

I think it would be a good idea for each of us to call our local law enforcement offices and volunteer to do a small presentation of the E-cig maybe whip up a little presentation with pics of various mods and so forth.

I was in a game room on the 4th of July and i was using my e-cig and people looked for about a moment someone ask and then it was okay they thought it was pretty kool because i didn't have to go outside to smoke and they did.

If the lady would not have yelled and acted so obnoxious about it, I would not have done that but she was being a real so and so. It was a hot day, and I have issues with being yelled at.

I've had a couple of positive reactions and a couple where people asking what the heck is that thing to almost having the cops called on me in an outside non smoking area.

I vape openly through the Wal-Mart. haha One time my fella was standing at the RedBox and puffing on his 510 with big clouds of vapor and this manager walks up to him and says, "Sir, you have to take that outside." I quickly pulled mine out and told her it was an inhaler and took it apart to show her. She was fascinated!

I vape pretty much anywhere else bc we all smoked inside when we smoked and I live in Alabama where the anti-smoking laws JUST passed in restaurants (where I stealth vape most of the time). I'm not shy about it usually.

I just started in May and was a bit worried since my Ego looks strange. Being close to Mexico and all, you never know.

The only time I really drive anymore is to and from work. I don't want the "hassle" so I usually put my pv down at lights or if there is a HP anywhere in sight.

I used my ego in front of my brother last weekend without telling him what it was first. The look on his face was priceless, he was eating lunch at my kitchen table and just about choked. "Did you just smoke a pen?" he asked when he composed himself. Then I explained what it was. After that, he was cool with me doing it wherever, my house, his house, the car. But I don't usually pull it out in stores or on sidewalks. If I ever do, I will just explain calmly what it is, and put it away if someone doesn't like it.

ill just vape where its legal to smoke, and i dont worry about red lights and such but i dont like cops so if theres one i wont be obvious im hiding it but i just wont pull it up. actually when i was smoking id put my cigarette down for cops too cause theyre always looking to give a cigarette .... littering fine anyway.

I am respectable when it comes to vaping in a public place like the mall, stores and such.

I vape in wal-mart, pumping gas and so forth, it's funny watching the reaction but only 3 times had anyone even asked me what the Fruit. lol
in restaruants and in poker room i vape but exhale into a napkin so no one sees the vapor. dont want management put into the situation of someone else lighting up cause they think im smoking or have them tell me that i cant vape in here. so far no probs.

I vaped my MEGA eGO in the airport on the second took it through security and everything. No one even asked what it was, so I walked right up to the Sheriff walking around (not TSA) and straight up asked him why they didn't talk to me about it.
Answer: "NOBODY would be stupid enough to walk around the cops and TSA smoking drugs, PLUS it is not made out of glass, and you are not trying to hide it, so it HAS to be some big stupid fancy e-cigarette." They must be educated in Tampa.
