Strange taste

I am having issues with the taste. I don't know how to explain it other than when I vape it taste like the box of new analog cigs smell when you first tear off that foil wrapper on top. I got the reg. 24mg from smoketonight.com . Actually they have a little store in my mall and I bought it there. My question is....is that normal for the e cigarette or is it just the e-liquid I got that is causing that strange and not to pleasant taste?

When prices went up beyond what I could handle I switched to RYO using all natural pipe tobacco from OHM and that is the flavor I have come accustomed to and am looking to find somehow. After smoking RYO with the pipe tobacco I can't even stand to smoke a Marlboro anymore they are just to weak for me.


And advice,answers or help of any kind would be greatly appreciated THANKS!

Most people aren't fond of the mall brands. Better tasting liquids can be found online. Everyone has their favorite vendors-I like mrs. t's, freedomsmokeusa, tasty vapor.

Did you breakin your new addy?

The addy's ship with some fluid out of the plant that is very nasty!!!! Blow out the addy first and prime with several drops of ejuice. don't inhale the first 4,5 or 6 puffs.

Also if you do not have a nice moist/wet addy they will give off a bad taste and if you continue to vape without sufficient juice you will destroy the addy. Keep it wet...

Suggest that you attend a Vapers meeting in your area. Great way to try many types of ecig equiment / MODS and JUICE. May find several that match your taste.

kellogg, Thank you for the reply it makes me feel much better about ordering from vikingvapor (hopefully theirs will be better) instead going and buying a different flavor from the mall. I really wish I would have found this place before I placed a order to anywhere though . Oh well live and learn I guess. To answer your question and stop myself from rambling lol I bought the RN4081. it says super cigarette on the front of the user's manual and RN4081 on the back. I am sure you probably know what it is by the name I just know I liked it the best out of the ones they let me try.

So, why don't you try a different flavor? Is the nic strength enough for you?

You are not burning the juice, so it will not taste like burning tobacco exactly. Some juices come close, for some, but not all.

The lady at the mall did everything for me and when she handed it to me with a fully charged battery she told me not to inhale for the first few puffs. I will have to look around my area for a Vapers meeting but being I live in a tiny hick town (mall is 30 minutes away) I will be shocked if I find anyone who even knows what a e-cig is lol.

It doesn't taste like tobacco though I just realized what it taste like. It tastes just like when I was a kid and would put aluminum foil over my teeth (being a dork I know). That's it though it tastes like aluminum foil.


The nic strength is plenty strong enough I'm sure and I haven't went to the mall to get another flavor yet because they are pretty far away. I also put in a order online through someone else the day after I got the e-cig so hopefully it will taste better than what I have now.

Never had that, so I feel for you, but at the same time, glad it didn't happen to me.

We don't even have a marshall. We borrow one, from time to time, from the huge town of Russiaville if we need one. You're still in a much more upscale hick town than me!

The other thing to consider is this: the longer you can go without smoking, the more your taste buds will recover from the trauma they've been put through, and the better your e-juice will taste.

Yeah LIMESTONE yuck that is all we have. Try to dig a few feet down and screech there goes the shovel blade. Wow not even a town Marshall huh well I guess Oolitic is a bit bigger then haha.

I know I can do it as I have quit before by smoking nothing but coco bean cigs. The thing is I decided to go with the e-cig cause I don't wanna quit I just wanna quit the smoke

I know Kokomo! My sister moved there years ago but after a month couldn't handle being away from home and moved back.

I usually have to tell people I live south of Bloomington or Indianapolis before they even have a clue on the general location of Oolitic.

Thanks for the kind words. If I might also inquire, what mg nicotine is your juice? This will also have an effect on the ease of quitting the smokes.

(and there are some nasty tasting juices out there, but I never toss them - I just hold onto them and try them again in a month, sometimes they taste better the second time around)

I got the strongest they had which was 24mg. Thank you again i will hold onto it and hopefully my taste buds will change enough that I may actually try it again later and like it . I am so glad that I found this place there are so many nice helpful people here .
