Strong suction could have adverse health effects. Seriously. I mean...really, seriously?

Earlier this year, Talbot and researchers Anna Trtchounian and Monique Williams found out that generally e-cigarettes demanded stronger vacuum or suction to smoke than conventional cigarettes. “The effects of this (strong suction) on human health could be adverse,” they wrote.

It's quite the contrary, so I thought. I don't actually have to pull hard at ALL. My jaw doesn't hurt like it did with cigarettes. Hmm... I smell fraudulent studies here. They probably overflooded the atomizer or something and can barely get any vapor (probably using PG only), so they pull and suck on it as hard as possible.

Wow, I reread it and they're using automatic batteries. That's another trigger right there for me. Nice job with the studies. Now leave my PV alone, or hold a REAL study.

better put health warnings on milkshakes then. The amount of force it takes to draw those things up a straw could have disastrous consequences. That's it, tomorrow there will be no more vaping, and no more milkshakes.

LMFAO. This just made me DIE of laughter hehehe  They should try to drink a Wendy's frosty ahahahahaha.

LOL....no kidding. McDonald's seem to be the worst. Darn, I may need to go to town. I want one now. Guess, I'll call my doctor in the morning because I had health issues from my chocolate shake.

Bahaha... when I read the title I was thinking the exact same thing... my exact thought was "Man, they should ban McDonalds shakes, that's like sucking wet concrete though a bendy straw"

This whole suction thing made me feel pretty safe, it seemed more of an answer to the question "Can you find ANYTHING really dangerous with these, PLEASE!!!" something a cigarette company would ask if hiring a lab to do studies on the alternative to using their product. You would have to think by the time they got to suction they had failed the really good tests (cancer, emphasema etc) after suction came "Ecigs are dangerous cause they come in paper boxes, have you ever had a paper cut?!?! these will kill you (if you repeatedly paper cut your neck in just the right spot for several hours)"

Look hard enough = Find a problem.

Their main point really wasn't about the suction, it was mostly that there has been virtually no testing done on the juices, and what not. It was pretty sad how they threw it in the end, they are trying so hard to impress the media that they know everything. That guy had it right, ban orange julius first. or ban my neighbours wife ^^. jokes.

Health advise from a country which still has regular (and fatal) cholera outbreaks? No thanks. Figure out how to not poop where you get your drinking water and then come back with the medical safety lectures.

OMG ..... I have contemplated this for eons now, you read my mind! I mean, who the heck is going to listen to the advice of people who can't stop .....ting where they eat??

I think the extreme suckage award goes to Anna and Monique!

As wise doctors will tell you, if it hurts when you do it, then stop doing it! You're just doing it wrong!!

PS - are these people "real?"
