Stronger Battery? Or Stronger Nic. Level?

Hi Everyone,
Glad to see this Forum is here. Lots of valuable info!

My set up:
joyetech 510 starter kit.
3 pieces: Cartridge / Atomizer / Battery
Battery is a bit less than 3.7 volts in power.
This is a drip method with batting in the cartridge.

I seem to not be getting the full vape effect: I'm a light smoker (1 pack Marlboro Lights per weekend).
I've tried a friend's advanced system with an 18 nic level and it about knocked me over.

Question:
Should I make up for a weak system with a higher nic level?
(18 is NOTHING like my friend's APV.)
Or should I get a more powerful (advanced) system and lower the nic?

Any advice would be great and thanks in advance!
Steve

30 nic level is very high for a LIGHT smoker, and one who barely even smoked...12-18mg nic should be plenty with a simple little ego battery and CE4/CE5 clearomizer...I recommend a 1100a battery for all day use...that battery is way too weak... The standard Joye 510 battery offers approximately 2 hours of use-time

I agree with Szot, 30 nic level is very high for a light smoker. Have you ever changed your atomizer that could be 1 of the reason that you aren't getting a good hit. Another reason is that you are getting used to the ego and want to go bigger.

Before getting a APV you should ask yourself are you satisfy with the Ego or not. If you are then try changing the stock atomizer into a tank and vape from there if you are not satisfy, then you should try to read up on some nice VV/VW. There are a ton of people that recommend Vamo after the Ego setup. Or, if you are willing to spend money the Provari is a nice mod and user friendly with amazing customer support.

Typically, it's what you put on the battery, the juice delivery system that has much more effect on the vape than the battery. The ohms of the coil in the device is a big consideration. Your battery is not variable voltage, so you have the power that you have. The way to increase it and get more vapor, flavor, TH and nicotine is to use a lower ohm coil.

Also, cartomizers tend to put out more than clearomizers. Hope this helps a bit.

Get an ego kit like this:

$16.85 EGO-CE4S 6-in-1 USB Rechargeable 650mAh Electronic Cigarettes Health Keeping Set - black / double e-cigarette / US charger / USB cable at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And stick to 12 to 18 mg tops. 30mg is very high for a light smoker. You may even want lower nic with a PV like this one. It's inexpensive, average 10 days shipping, easy to fill, clean and new clearomizers are cheap too. (Just make sure you get a US plug, Fasttech has both US and Euro plugs)

one thing id like too is to try a duel coil clearomizer, I started on a ce4 iclear16 disposable but was informed next time the ce5 ones cost the same and could be fixed easy with a new coil. got home and used it right away and thought to myself why the hell do they even sell the other ones. it gave lots more flavour, vapour and throat hit for something as simple as a extra coil. so to answer your question, it could most likely just be what you have the juice in to vape from.

give more info on your set up and everyone will help as much as we can.

That set up is unbelievable for the price!
Seems too good to be true . . . however, I'm fairly new to this.

The system I have:
JoyeTech 510 with less than 3.7 volts in battery power.
3 parts: Cartridge / Atomizer / Battery.
The cartridge is for dripping eLiquid into (stuffed with batting).

Naturally, I started with the Blu. -Way too weak.
The JoyeTech 510 is great . . . but again, I tried my friend's APV with an eJuice of about 18 and I was knocked out.

My original question was:
Can I make up for lack of power with a stronger nic level? Or does that just seem backwards?

I think I'm leaning toward getting a new system. Like an eGo.
Thanks to you who posted the eGo system for about $17.
(Just seems too good to be true. The JoyeTech 510 was about $40.)

Thanks for all your input!

I'm using a JoyeTech 510 with a battery that is a bit less than 3.7 volts.
It's a non tank system. -I drip into the batting in the cartridge.

The eGo seems a MUCH better system . . . and is priced VERY nicely!
