RDA Stumpy builds

Single coil between the two posts is where it's at. It's pretty much the only build I use on that atty anymore.
I've been vaping mainly nets up at 6mg so I've been running around .7 to 1 ohm at 28g (I keep forgetting to cop more 26). Fairly cool temp wise though. I've heard people on this https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/rda-round-table-discussion-and-lookout.686745/ thread running it way lower and still not having too many heat issues.
I run a Stumpy base with Vector cap. I am happy with 5-wrap 26ga 4-strand parallel single coil between posts as high as it can get. With the Vector cap, I can position the coil centered above the posts. I'm using a 4mm mandrel, but that may be too much girth for between posts under the Stumpy cap.
My go to build for the stumpy was dual twisted 26g,5/6 with a 2.5mm ID. Put the coils really low in the deck, so the airflow comes over the top and viola.
I second this Stumpy build. Add a wrap and go 1.5mmID. It's fail safe and loaded with flavor.
6 wraps of 24 g on a 2mm...awesome flavor and vapor...it's quickly becoming my new favorite
I absolutely love my Stumpy clone but may be having a problem with wicking it properly. How much cotton should I be using? FWIW I'm doing Ni200 builds with 28awg at .15.

I've been running dual 24g with 2mm ids. Tremendous vape. Maybe 7/6s or 6/5s. I am going to wrap a single 28g parallel, 2.5mm id, Z style and see what happens. Maybe a 10/9 or 9/8...
@WharfRat1976 That looks really nice, I need to get some Kanthal & try some builds. My first & only cools so far have been Ni200.

Do it. Kanthal is so good to build with and does not leave the aftertaste that most other wire leaves for me, Nichrome in particular. When you bend it and coil it it stays put. You can shape it however you want and form your leads perfect. This 22g single is hitting really well after exclusively running 26g duals in the Stumpola. I seriously prefer the vape that fatter wire produces. I have the coil within a mm of the top cap drip tip, so be safe there...
Hey guys, I had a stumpy clone by LS*. I had it dual coil 24g at 0.29 ohms. Flavor and the vapor is there, quite exciting. But I really curious about my clone, do you guys have any idea about the quality of LS*'s clone? Change the * with D.
