I like the 808 auto battery. I have had fantastic luck using it in a manner very similar to a cigarette. The draw is a little harder, but performing a "stupid long" inhale is not required to get good vapor. I rarely ever hit the cutoff of seven seconds.

I saw the videos too. The first time I tried an e-cig I took about a 5-6 second pull. I could feel the menthol vapor in my mouth and I thought "Oh, this is going to be good". So finally I inhaled.....and nearly coughed my lungs up. I got a HUGE throat hit that I wasn't prepared for and I've found that with nicotine levels that high ( it was 24 mg), you really don't need a very long pull. I can't imagine what smoking the 36 mg is like.

When I first started I couldn't get a throat hit or vapor. My non-smoking/non-vaping hubby picked up my ecig and got a nice TH with tons of vapor. He proceeded to tell me that I was doing it wrong. He said it's not a cig. LOL I didn't even have to try and convince him it wasn't smoking. But now he tells me I vape too much. At least I'm not smoking.

Anyways the long slow inhale took me a little while to get used to.

A lit ....-log is already ignited and burning the tobbacco before you take a hit. The juice is in a liguid state and the atomizer (with heating coil ) is in the off position. when you activate the atomizer via the battery, it takes time to have the coil heatup and atomize the juice to a vapored amount that will be pleasing to the vaporer (wonder if thats a new word). You can setup an ecig with a higher wattage configutation which in turn will heatup the juice alot quicker to the desired vapor amount. Lots of folks do use these "HV" and/or "LR atty" setups, but there are trade offs such as the juice that tasted great at normal wattage can taste like chit at a higher power setup. And of course folks that find good tasting juice at high power will find that same juice to be crappy at normal power. Happy Vaping

Maybe it was the menthol? I use 36 mg and I take about an 8-second pull. Love the throat hit! I vape myself silly sometimes though...
