If I run .6 ohm dual coil, my sony VTC4 2100 mah batteries will last about 2-3 ML (9-12 hrs) of juice before needing a swap. This isn't saying much though because about 3 hours in, the vape becomes definitely weaker. I don't like to carry spare batteries so I tend to run .6-.7 ohm single coils when I go to work. It's much more satisfying because the batteries last much longer with a very satisfying vape.

Got my AW IMR 1600 30amp batteries today, and I am not sure if its just me or if these things pack a heck of a lot more punch than the 2000's i had did. Flavor seems to have gone to a new level.

Either way, I am still very happy with these. I love being in the same state as RTD, I get everything the next day. :D

Yes the 1600 start out at a higher voltage under load and hold it longer than the 2000 do.

Gotta correct you just incase you try to do something crazy but unless they've changed recently aw 18650 1600 are 24amp max 16 amp continuous discharge.

Ill admit, Im a bit concerned about sub-ohm setups for a bunch of different reasons. But I wont get into that for now.

I just want to know...does a single 18650 get you through an entire day? I remember voltage drop-off being noticeable in the course of the day using 1.5ohm, and I can imagine a sub-ohm setup would be much more noticeable.

the battery will last a lot longer the more you can reduce the voltage drop
I use about .4 ohms nowadays and yes, it gets me from morning to the night

but this is in two modified REOs (not the fuse mod, but my own). I strongly discourage you from going this way.

But once Rob release the sub-ohm kit, yes, it will definitely make the battery last longer, even if you don't sub-ohm

Guys. when I first got the REO, I made a 1.3 ohm coil and was satisfied. This week, I made a 0.9-1.0 ohm coil and things were so much more powerful. For the first time, I never knew vaping can be so great.

I wonder if that's considered "sub ohming"? How low do you have to go to be considered "sub ohming"?

I'm thinking about going lower but I've heard they can melt the button. Does anyone know how high the temperature of the spring get if you sub ohm?

I'm worried that it might melt the insulation in the 510 connection and create a dangerous short circuit...

Most likely the spring was replaced with a 10amp car fuse. And maybe he put in a new firing pin.

Exactly, fuse mod and brass firing pin. Rob will have a sub ohm kit. So I'd wait for that and stick to .7 or above until then. His supplier missed the first date so we are hoping to get kits in April.
