Just a heads up. Your poll eliminated everything between 0.11 and 0.19.

Now that I am using Ni200 wire, I'm in that range more and more.

damn. i had the feeling something was missing. thanks for the heads up. i tried editing the poll, but it doesnt seem possible.

"the 0.1 and lower" category should be "0.1Ω and lower to 0.19Ω" and shall be treated as such.

what im looking to find out is if the relationship between resistance and mg both generally decrease at the same rate. just a fun little experiment.

i find that i am satisfied with lower mg when my resistance is lower. am i gettign more nic out of my juice at higher temps/lower resistance? is the heat creating a TH-like experience that takes the place of nic? perhaps the sheer volume of vapor from a very low resistance build creates a TH-like experience.

its hard to tell exactly whats happening, but id like to know exactly why lowering your resistance lets vapers easily lower their nic%, and still be fully satisfied.

.2x -.3x and anything from 3mg to 24mg, depending on my mood and time of day. Yes, I drip 18 and 24 at low ohms. I dripped some 18mg @ .23ohm in my Mutation X this morning before I left for work. Just a quick jolt to get my motor started, lol.

interesting! sometimes i do the same, but not as extreme.

for me its more like if im out drinking and crave a monster TH, i'll drip 18mg on one of my half-ohm builds that usually only sees 12mg.

24mg in the morning would strangle me lol. sometimes 12 even chokes me for the first vape or two in the AM. i can easily do 6mg for the first hour of the day or so, but prefer 12. and i consider myself kind of an iron throat guy. before RBAs, i could barely get TH out of anything, even the most rugged 24mg juices.

I think it has to do with TH and volume of vapor. Even at 0.7ohm I'm not burning through my juice like I know some people do, so I'm still good with the higher nic. That and I have a titanium lined throat :)

mostly builds between .15 to .30 for my regular vaping. 3mg nicotine. The last 3 RDAs I have put together are all .21 ohm 24 gauge sleeper coils.

Ive been using dual 24ga coils, 7wraps, 3/32 drill bit, .3ohms with 3-4 mg liquid. I just cant vape the 6mg anymore, its toooo much since ive gotten my rda to run efficiently.

In your opinion, what are the advantages to a sleeper build? Im going to try one and see whats up with it.

Sleeper build will always have better conductivity than two separate coils... Typically on a dual build one coil will heat up fast, even if it is marginal....

WIth a sleeper build as long as the coils are the same size they will hit up at the exact same time, and it is going to be a better connection in general because it is only one piece of wire connecting with pos and neg posts...

.3 with 6mg here. Sometimes get a headache at night when chain vaping it though.

I find when talking to local sub homers that nic th is often mistaken for "steam burn" from hot vapor. Nic th is a itchy feeling and shouldn't have much if any burning sensation

 Thanks for that laugh this morning.

I understand the concept. Somewhat. How does this affect resistance? With duals, one builds identical ohmed coils and then splits the ohms in half of one coil to come to the total ohms of the build. Is it the same or different for a sleeper? I would think that it would be an overall reading. Slightly confused and trying to fully understand.
