Does IMR vs INR make a difference? Talking batteries here.
It does, and the difference lies in the chemistry. Both types are considered safe for vaping with the appropriate amp capacity. They type to avoid, regardless of amp rating, is ICR. FWIW, the IMR is generally considered slightly safer (more stable) than the INR, but both are usable.

There are a lot of good ones out there, Lyssie. Personally, I think the double battery 200W+ mods are overrated... you really wouldn't use that much wattage anyway (at least, I don't). I've been very happy with my vaporesso Target mod and my HeatVape Invader Mini (the thing is all but bullet-proof!)

+1 to Kaez in this one. I have and use one battery mods in the 60-75 watt range and they work just fine, especially since I rarely go over 50. That said, I also have a number of two battery mods (and 2 three battery mods) which I also use; and I think the best buy out there right now is the RX200, which is a 3 battery mod. It's not real pocket friendly, but it's very ergonomic and with LG HG2s it's lasts for days. Here's a photo; L-R Smok Koopor Plus, Sigelei 150, Snow Wolf 200, SX Mini, Smok Treebox, RX200. The three on the left are 2 battery, the SX and the Treebox are 1 battery, and the RX is 3 battery.

not sure which one she put it but it came with:
  • Sub-ohm 0.5ohm and LR 1.5 ohm Coil Included.
It says .19 Horseshoe
When i press the button, below the .19 pops up a 2.82V
And I have it set to 25w when I vape the 6mgs and to 35w when I vape the 3mg.
.19 horseshoe is awesome. I 'm using it:) The term that is, .19 means you are proabably vaping a nickel wire coil and this should only be used in TC mode, which the subox mini does not have (unless you just purchased the Platinum version of course). Hope all is going well with your vape experience as I have not read past the first page of posts.

Agree with suprtrkr. Just avoid ICR (li-ion) batteries altogether. Most of today's vaping batteries are INR, a hybrid of IMR batteries. For a short course on lithium battery chemistries, read my two blogs on batteries:

E-liquid is a mix of flavorings, nicotine and two main components, vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). VG is thick and makes a lot of vapor, PG is thinner and carries much of the flavor.
The 80/20 represents the ratio of the VG and PG in the mix. Tank atomizers usually require a relatively low viscosity so use a higher PG ratio so they wick correctly.

there ya go I fixed it... ;)

I do have the platinum addition! Wooohooo! I figured out the tc modes yesterday with a ton of help ... but I was sad to learn that every time I change my tank that I will need to change the settings.

You'll be a Master Vaper in no time! There are still a lot of veteran vapers who haven't dabbled in temp control yet. It's not for everyone, but with the right set-up it works pretty well. Great for the prevention of scorched wicks... YUCKKK!!

I will tell you what else ... when I was using it in the other mode it was killing the battery! Since I went into TC mode the battery is great!

Yep... super low ohms will do that in wattage mode. Kills battery life and guzzles juice... that's why I typically go through around 15 mL of juice a day... ;)
