And don't try to build your own coils until you understand ohms and have a way to check the ohms of the coil. I don't know if that setup includes an ohm meter, but it's probably better to have a separate one anyhow.

The subox has an "OHM" reader on the display. Seems pretty accurate, since I tested the coil on my multimeter, and it read the same as my subox. Still though, Id trust my multimeter over the subox, until it really earns my "trust", if you know what I mean.
