Lung hit, can't really do that with the 1.5ohm, well you can be it won't be very good..the 1.2ohm will be a little better but either way, personally I think your going to OD on the nicotine at 12mg, the only way is to try it though.

Lung hitting you really need the 0.5ohm coil, then 6mg is about right, well it is for me..actually, I'm down to 4mg..(I make my own juice)

If you are using a mech mod, use the 1.2ohm coils.
If you are using a regulated mod then it really, truly, seriously, honestly and sincerely, does not matter.
Set it low (10-15watts) to start and turn it up in 2-5 watt increments until you are happy.

Same with airflow, start with less airflow at low watts and open it up as you turn up the wattage until you are happy.

Why do you feel that you need a .5 ohm coil for lung hitting?
Maybe if you never change your settings or you are using a mech mod?
While it is true they utilize different gauge wire, the difference between will be in ramp up time and maximum temperature, though the max temp ceiling never truly comes into play as the max temp of both wires will be well in excess of a comfortable vaping temp.

I mean with the atlantis you have different (larger or smaller) bore coils, which would make a difference, but on the subtank they are all the same airflow (except now they have vertical which i haven't had the pleasure of using).
