I really didn't need anything. I've spent enough money in the last month to pay for 3 months of analogs. I have 4 batts, my husband has 2, I have at least 400ml of juice, and probably a hundred or so cartos. I'm set for months, right? But then the family sale came along....... and it would be a shame to let such an awesome discount slip by.......

So I bought a starter set and a couple extra batts and 4 packs of cartos, and had them sent to my sister. She and I both tried an e-cig back in January, my mom bought a kit (not V4L) for my brother, and brought it with her on our "girl's weekend" in Vegas. My sister took the kit home with her, but hasn't used it much - liked the idea, but didn't like the taste, or the battery life, or the cost of new cartridges - same issues I had with it. I'm hoping she likes the V4L as much as I do.

Mission accomplished - took advantage of the sale, and didn't add anything else to my growing stash, no packages to sneak into the house, and good deed done for the day.

And then I checked the forum tonight. And WOW Peppermint is back in stock. And quantities are limited. And the sale is still happening. So, although I don't *need* anything, I will soon be the proud owner of 2 shiny new XL batts, 15 more cartos, and 30ml of Peppermint juice. I think I have issues.

I'm in the same boat, krash. I just loaded up on everything I could possibly need for the foreseeable future, opening 4, count 'em, 4 shipments yesterday, and vaped myself into a stupor that kept me from sleeping last night. I have batts, juice, and cartos to last for months, and yet, I sit here looking at a full shopping cart. I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger tonight, or wait to see what tomorrow's stock updates might bring.

Yep. Issues. Welcome. :)

I knew I could post here and y'all would understand! Thanks for putting the positive spin on it for me, Kanza - committing your post to memory in case I don't make it to the mailbox before my hubby! :)

~krash

pssst - Joyce - read Kanza's words of wisdom - you'll be doing the world a favor by pulling that trigger! lol

I'm gonna have to stop checking my email for a while....just received an order...placed another when the family sale launched...then Wader had to go and get peppermint....so yet another order tonight and you know I could not just get the 1 bottle of peppermint....no that would be too logical......now if they get 555 in tomorrow I'm in a lot of trouble!!!

Yeah, I ordered three auto batteries from the bargin bin, another charger and fruit, coffee and tobacco samplers in lower nic than I like - but wanted to put together a little 'kit' for people that want to try it out. A friend of mine is taking her daughter on a weekend get away - her daughter is really trying to give up the analogs - but with a little struggle so I plan to hook her up. The bed and breakfast they are going to is non smoking. I prefer the manuals, but think the autos are good for someone first trying out the system. Then I added a few personal items as well:)

Jamvector sir good to see you, been a while.

I'll mark for two years.... But if the Jewish prophecies are right we ain't making it past the 21st of May this year, and if the Mayans are, well...

Ms. Krashnash welcome to the group. :)

Thanks Morandir; I don't buy any of the end of days BS - my advice is to party on with your bad self every day like it is your last. Vaping allows me to accomplish this indoors, anytime, without smelling like an ashtray - which has forced me to increase the amount of obnoxious behavior and snide smartass remarks to offset my lack of smoky aroma :)

Keelalagirl, I think we're on the same ordering schedule! Fingers crossed there's no 555 tomorrow for you and no waffle for me... or fingers crossed that there is... don't know which to wish for.

Jamvector, I'd also rather plan for the party instead of planning for the end! :) Your post reminded me - today makes 3 weeks exactly since my last cigarette, and it was also the first time I noticed someone else's "smoky aroma". I truly didn't realize how bad I must have smelled for all those years until today.

Thanks for the welcome Morandir.

Iowa gal, seems we were on the same wavelength as well! I was born and raised an Iowa gal, so your generosity doesn't surprise me, but it does make me a little homesick. :)

krash...I did order the 0nic waffle the other day and the 0nic 555....but if they get either tomorrow I'm in trouble....I can always get the 36 and cut it evenly with my 0 to get my 18.....sooooooo....I've got on one hand fingers crossed that they do not show and on the other the fingers are crossed that they do.....I never realized I really do have a split personality:)

Edit: krash...I just have to say...I love that pic....it reminds me of my childhood...we had a siamese and 2 english setters (even if that's not exactly what yours is, it looks just like Sarge....he was such a good dog).....

Congrats krash on 3 weeks - speaking for all the people like me who have suffered numerous unsuccessful attempts to quit in the past, think how great you will be feeling in several months, and then after a year when respiratory and cardio functions are near normal! Not to mention that this sub forum is the best support network you will ever find, keep up the great work!

Splurge and treat yourself on every sale for a while at least, you are worth it. Enjoy the initial period of fascination and experimentation, and most importantly, don't get caught up with comparing the cost of vaping vs smoking. Don't worry, your vaping cost really will decrease, after 6 months or so :)

keelalagirl, if you have a split personality, then I guess that makes four of us!

jamvector, I'm really looking forward to seeing how I'll feel in a few months or a year. It's already a treat to be able to climb a flight of stairs without gasping for breath. I used to say that I was really good at quitting smoking: I quit every single night (and started again every single morning). This is officially as long as I've stayed away from tobacco in 24 years! Tried every other NRT and smoking cessation product/method out there: the gum pulled out a filling and caused $1100 worth of dental work, found out I was allergic to the adhesive on the patch after I broke out in hives, wellbutrin had 0 effect, chantix made me alternate between suicidal and homicidal with a big dose of very vivid nightmares that took months to go away, herbals and the lozenges and snus all made me hurl, and the hypnotist actually advised me not to come back after the 5th or 6th visit and refunded my money. As far as I'm concerned, this little battery and all the lovely flavors of juice are nothing short of miracles wrapped in priority mail boxes!

Bingo krash; amazingly simple and practical isn't it? Imagine you are trying to lose weight, and your dietician prescribes 5 different flavors of ice cream every day; eat as much as you want, inconceivable, right?. Now you have decided to quit smoking; go and order some more vaping supplies, try some new flavors, HAVE FUN! Who's crazy now?

I am going to be on a cruise ship celebrating the end of times in December. I figure on the 22nd I'll have such a bad hangover that I will have wished it would have ended.... :D

We don't even want to talk about what I have spent at this sale. Let's just say analogs were a lot cheaper :D But I feel better, smell better, and will live longer, so I guess I'll be old and broke LOL

Analogs: $210 month
E cigs: $400 this month....
All the joys of non smoking are priceless though :D

One of the main reasons people give up vaping and return to smoking is that they feel misled and disillusioned about the cost. I'm just trying to tell you guys it does get better; once the novelty of it all wears off in a few months and you realize V4L has sales at least two times a month, you will spend significantly less, especially if you refill, boil, refill, etc. Don't lose out on the fun initiation phase though.

Just because you partied like a freak as a freshman in college, doesn't mean you will maintain that lifestyle until you're 48 - wait, bad analogy, scratch that :)
