Congrats! Well, at least we're in this together, right? I tried to use zero at first, but it was pretty tough. I used 10 & 6mg for a week or so and then dropped to zero. Because of the nausea, I'm hardly vaping at all now. Is this your first pregnancy, also?

Funny, maybe my husband & I quitting the cigs made us more fertile??????

hey guys, thanks for the Congrats!~
to answer a few ??'s...nope, not my first time in this rodeo. I have three boys, 17,16, and 11...met my current, 2nd, and LAST Husband in 2006. My youngest was 5. A year later we married and began to try to conceive. After a few months of no luck, went to get everything checked out, and lo and behold, Doc ran some tests and both of my tubes were completely blocked and useless. Been saving up every since for In-vitro, debating on whether or not we wanted to go through with the trials and tribulations of trying this as a last resort, decided we would not be able to endure the heartbreak and cost involved... My husband has no prior children, and although he loves mine like his own, I know he yearns for a child of his own...anyway, we had pretty much given up on the idea of having our own baby, and with the boys getting so old, we know that grandbabies aren't that far away, so we had resolved to just enjoy them when they came along, and were looking forward to our empty nest in a few years....LOL
But apparently somebody had other plans for us! Was a week or so late and tried blaming it on the moon phase or something. in complete denial...then had a vivid dream last night about taking a pregnancy test and the result beind so positive i woke up wondering if we had really told the family yet or not...decided to go grab a test just in case, i mean, stuff happens right?
and i will be damned if it wasn't positive. and so was the second one.
and with my previous complications I was scared to death that the embryo was stuck in my tube, so once I suprised hubby with the news, and boy did i!, and he stopped crying long enough to drive, he drove me to the ER for an ultrasound tonite just to make sure everything was where it is supposed to be... and it is!! about 6 weeks, strong heartbeat on our little bean.
What a miracle. our friends and family are floored! as are we!~ I am still in shock, and hubby has been bawling like a baby all day ;)

anyway, appreciate the offers here and on the other thread. anything Zero or Low nic, menthol or fruity, and mostly PG. I believe my lack of catching ANY colds this winter has been to my vaping PG. I do use some VG, but like to keep some PG in the mix to sanitize my airway, so to speak!

and yes Redgirl at least we ARE in this together, and what a great place to be in!~
and i honestly believe that quitting the Toxic sticks had something to do with the miracle that is growing in my uterus as i Type!! I believe my body is healing and repairing itself. hey, i will believe anything at this point, I am pregnant for crying out loud!

if you guys would just send me a quick PM and i will reply with my address and work out a trade for those wanting to trade.

and i will step down the Nic, but need to get off of it pretty quickly either way. Blood pressure wasn't so great to begin with, and now i have to be extra careful about it, sooo.... uuuggghh and i am NOT looking forward to the nausea :(

going to browse baby websites now!
LOL

((((ry))))) That is so amazing. I am truly in awe at the wonderous way that miracles touch our lives. How fabulous for you and hubby.

Big dittos on the stepping down. Although nic is not good for the body, neither is the shock of going cold turkey (or so sayeth one of the theories) Anyway.. anything we can do to help along such a beautiful blessing ♥

and thanks for sharing such a touching story :)

Congratulations!! (remind me not to drink the water here.... lol)

Please, for your sake and the baby, wean down slowly! Dropping to zero nic can be stressful on your body.
Oh, and keep that preggo water away from me!!

Wow! 2 miracles! Congrats all the way around! I'm not drinking the water though.....just sayin'.

I was told to step down the nic while I was pregnant (years ago) - doctor said it was too stressful to quit.

Again, congratulations....what a fabulous gift!

Oh My Gracious Goodness !TWO expectant mommas! Congadulations !!! As much as I'd like to agree about the water I'm more incline to think JOOSE!! possibly that mystical KBV that is so amazing! LOL!!! Best wishes to you...(((HUGS)))

So happy for you!! two baby announcements so close to each other...at this rate i'm going to have to avoid the pif for a while(though maybe it's not as catching for occasional posters)...my baby factory is CLOSED! lol. i have about 30-35ml of sweet apple from MFS, as well as approx 5ml of caramel apple (both 0mg). hubby claims he can't taste either one, i taste them just fine, but i need 24mg. pm me your addy if you want them. no charge, free ship. :) congrats again, and i'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts for a happy (nausea free) and healthy pregnancy.

thanks for all that have offered to help. I have been cutting down the liquid I have been using with some NASTY VG that was sent to me a while back, and can't wait for some alternatives to arrive :( not the greatest taste when your tastes are already starting to be subjective!~ uugh. I think I will be good for zero/low nic liquid for a while, thanks to the people on this wonderful board. Those of you that have sent stuff, be looking out for a return treat from me :) and for the rest of you, be on the lookout for my surplus liquid on the PIF and treasure chest threads!~

Has first appt with OB today, and so far so good! am still in shock....started crying in the greeting card aisle today LMAO...
