So guys, i'm in the market for a larger capacity, reliable, multifunctional variable wattage battery mod. The variable voltage and low bat capacity on the ego doesn't seem to cut it anymore. Problem is, there's so many different manufacturers/ brands of larger capacity variable wattage, digital mods out there that it makes it pretty hard to choose - especially when they vary so greatly in price!

The obvious suggestion is the Provari, which people rave about, but are there any alternatives that are just as good but at a more reasonable price? I would bite the bullet on the provari but at the same time, there are others that cost the same as the provari and provide relatively the same functions.

Just need some suggestions... Thanks!

I have the Evic and a Vamo i like the Evic for home ( afriad to drop it i have heard horror stories of them falling apart) Now the Vamo is a work horse take the extention tube off run with 18350 battery and last me all day it has VV / VW but is not 100% accurate but close enough for me plus the price you can find them complete with batteries and charger for 35 bucks .
Now if you want something that will out last everything else on the market get a Provari !!!

Its DC voltage to the coil in the end weather its VW or VV When it comes to VW its is nice but its not just set and vape as it once was thought to be. If you want a very will made mod you will be happy with the Provari. If you want something with lots of cool gizmoes and aftermarket add ons the evic is a good choice. If you want the cheapest of all options the Vamo is great. Some people act like clicking the voltage up or down a few notches is unbearable;-) But you have to do the same thing with VW so I really dont see the big difference. If I had to use VW Id stick with a DNA 20 mod it has everything on one screen. The resistance and set wattage and when you press the button you get the Voltage also very nice.
There are also other things to consider if you want to buy American and have builder guarantee and support. Then the Provari is at the top of the list.
You will enjoy the mod what ever you chose A good rule of thumb is buy the best you can afford then you can not go wrong.

The Sigelei zmax is a well built VW pv. Vaporalley has them for 65 bucks which is a great price. If you want more battery size options get the telescoping zmax. The zmax is as well built as the provari with a much lower price tag. I have dropped mine many times and it just keeps running. It has ego and 510 threading so it will take almost anything you would want to top it with. Best value out there.
