So I am trying to get this straight. The polypropylene is suppose to be better than the polycarbonate...is that correct? But they both could still have issues with acidic juice? I am fixing to order some cinnamon and want to make sure I use it in the correct tube...I do have a metal vivi tank in my cart.

Thanks AG, so I have some butter cream mint that I have been worried to use. Am I correct that the Titan is polypropylene? I got the 3.5 ravens and I did notice that the small ones are polycarbonate and the big one is polypropylene...may have to order a big one..lol.
Yup, My Titan is werking wonderful and no effects on the plastic from my juice :D

Or perhaps it would be better to say "is not good enough for all juices"... The polycarbonate plastics have certainly improved and many people have complained about the polypropylene being chincey or cheap looking... so it's a no win situation on this one I suspect since I have doubt's that PC tubes will ever be indestructible enough... and PP tubes will likely never be completely clear.

This is a perfect example of where the manufacturers should make both polycarbonate and polypropylene tubes for modular type tanks. Personally, I could give a crap what it looks like if it functions properly. I just want stuff that works without worry, and I passed the stage a long time ago where I care much what most other people think. ;)

I'm pretty much a function over form myself... but I do still like something to look good to me as well given the option. My eyesight also comes into play... ex. I like the look of the smokey colored tanks but I find it hard to see the juice level in certain light... still they look good and it hasn't stopped me from getting some for occasional use...

As a kid I didn't care what other's thought... now I do, in that I try to respect their opinion and hope to not offend them... but I still make my choices based on my own beliefs and I will certainly voice that opinion when I wish and as I see fit despite what others may think...

I generally find that other people's opinions are highly overrated ;).

I did happen to think of another, possibly slim possibility .... acidic fruit juices and others like cinnamon etc can attack certain plastics... The Vivi's are made of a stronger type of plastic... but it's still plastic none the less

Hi rdsok - thanks for your suggestion and sorry for taking so long to reply. I only just got around to trying another head. I don't think that's the issue as I haven't had a problem with this juice in anything else. The new head doesn't have the same horrible taste either. I guess it was just a bad head.

Although the taste is OK on this one, sadly it still doesn't excite me too much. It probably performs a little better than a Stardust, but not up to my current favourite - the Kanger T2.

Sanda, unless you already have, you don't even have to dump the juice to change a head. I use my lil needle nose pliers, take off the cap, then just twist the head off with the pliers, put another one on, put the cap on. I just grab the metal post with the pliers, or even put one part of the pliers inside the post. Dumping may be easier for you, but I dislike the juice dribbles I always end up with.

Hey Debadoo - thanks for that. I decided to dump the juice in case the horrible taste had leached into it, but I'll keep that in mind if I need to do it again. Thanks :)
