A zen garden...idk can't describe it. "Ethereal green notes. Complex and unusual." Pretty accurate description.

I like all their mixes - liquid amber, hypno mist, oakwood, zen garden, oba oba - they're all really complex and balanced, best way I can describe em. Imo the best flavors are the ones you can't tell what's in it, no overwhelming flavors, keeps it interesting.

zen garden = mostly juniper and pine.
What does oba oba taste like?

Vanilla ice cream mixed w/ hypno mist. Has more throat hit too. I like it a lot but it's not as complex as hypno mist. btw this batch I got is dark yellow again you got the light stuff? order it again and it should be dark yellow - so much better.

oba oba is a tobacco flavor
but it's sweet.
" Some say it tastes like a tobacco with a little bubblegum and grapefruit. "

don't ask me, I haven't tried it

Oba oba has no resemblance to tobacco flavor whatsoever. Nor grapefruits. Maybe a lil bubblegum. It's unidentifiable vanilla mixture, like hypno mist w/ a vanilla aftertaste.

darkhood you should point me toward some flavor combos. We've got similar tastes and I pretty much trust your advice at his point.

I just sent ecx a hurry up and gimme my code email...if I have it before fri I'll send it to u otherwise don't worry about it.

My fav recipe so far, I mix this every week - 30ml bottle:

20ml 50/50 base + 5ml VG base (idk the ratio probably around 35/65) +

100 drops already mixed oba oba (or 15-20 drops condensed)
25 drops shade tobacco
25 drops already mixed menthol ice (or 8-10 drops condensed)
25 drops already mixed hypno mist (or 8-10 drops condensed)
10 drops oakwood

= semi-sweet, exotic, complex vanilla tobacco w/ a very slight warm oak-y menthol aftertaste.

Also vanilla tahiti + black cherry + menthol ice + lil bit of hypno mist = awesomeness. idk the drops or ratios, just do it by color and stank

Besides that all I can say is experiment, I haven't once made a juice that was awful and had to be tossed. A lot of FA flavors combine well w/ each other, I think I've combined all of em w/ at least one other flavor. Cocoa and caramel is awesome, hazelnut and cookie I just did today, rly good, vanilla tahiti, hypno mist and oba oba can be combined w/ almost anything. Idk, that recipe ^^^ is the only one I've mixed more than once, mostly I just keep mixing new ones cuz I get sick of stuff very quickly. hypno mist is my all day vape cuz it's the only juice i've found that i never, ever get sick of.

I've just watched this thread as I think Darkhood is doing a great service here. Simple DIY without worrying about exact nic level, but still safe, and not worrying about exact PG/VG ratios is a pretty good way to get started. (I'm real particular about nicotine level, but don't have much concern for the final PG/VG ratio.)

But, I wanted to confirm his notes on Oba Oba and Hypnotic Mist from FA. They are tough to describe and if you give the juice made from these to 5 people and ask how they describe it, you will get 5 completely different answers. They are very interesting flavorings to work with even in single flavor mixes. (And since they aren't new, they tend to get overlooked lately, which is a shame.)

Just leave some flavoring for darkhood folks.
