We're just about done with the Preorders(still on schedule to have all preorders done by Next Friday).

AT&T has an email to text dealiebob. Let's say my cellphone number is (888) 555-1234. An email sent to 8885551234 @txt.att.net will arrive as a text message on my phone. You may already know this but if you don't, think of the uses such functionality could have when stalking.

Suppose there's a thread on ECF where you suspect David might make an announcement, like maybe some short notice stock update. You could have ECF set up with 8885551234@ txt.att.net as your email address and subscribe to the thread using the "instant notification via email" option. Of course it has the potential to drive you nuts with an onslaught of texts, but...something to think about.
