Actually the screw must have been loose and fell out when I removed the kayfun from the package..in desperation I decided to make one last search attempt and low and behold I found it...that's my findings, lucky me,this thing rocks on my SW.
Just picked up another 3.1 es. I'll have a total of 4 kayfuns in-house plus an Ithaka, which is just as good using a single coil as the kayfuns. Have yet to try a dual with the Ithaka though.. Definitely some good quality units coming out lately.

You're not alone I have three and the only thing keeping me from grabbing another is I'm waiting for the SV mod to drop, I suspect it will be both pricey and out of stock very quickly But oh! I really want a perfect match VW SV mod to place my 3.1es beta on! I've always been an attomizer person. By that I mean that's where all my vaping budget seems to go provape has been my go to for a battery unit forever and I've always been more focused on what I put on it, lol. But I suspect this device, I will not be able to resist!

Of course you guys should plan a budget to get the Nivel module as well...I think it might be integrated,not sure anymore...anyways.

Dear all , a very good day to everyone and i hope all of you are in good health and are enjoying your respective kayfuns - .
I have been now vaping for nearly 3 years ( in June ) , and have been through it a LOT of diff devices starting from 510 attys and tea bags and blue foam - Lol.
i recently got the kayfun from cloud 9 vaping and set it up as per todds review , it vaped pretty fine but i got a few dry hits , thinking i was new to it and needed to adjust something i kept trying to get a nice vape out of it , sometimes it would work ok and sometimes dry hits , its been over a month now and i have tried every darn method under the sun to try and get rid of the dry hits .
I have tried diff silicas , ekowool , diff thickness , diff kanthal , nicrome , ribbin wire , You name it and ive done it , ive tried the navy seal method , been through pretty much all the videos on youtube and have even tried the method my friend Mark puno shows .
BUT i am still getting dry hits after a few vapes , what could be the problem !!
I would also like to mention at this point that i have a kayfun 2.1 also and that works perfectly fine , no dry hits and awesome vapour .
I have noticed one thing tho , when i vape on the 2.1 i can see little air bubbles coming up , BUT i have never noticed this happen on the 3.1 . could this be a problem , could any of you kind people check here if you get air bubbles from the 3.1 ...
would HIGHLY appreciate any and all input .

I'm sorry to hear it's giving you trouble. For me it's been just awesome, and I'm still vaping on the same wick and coil I made the day I got it, must be around three weeks now. I set it up like this:

Grats on almost 3 years
No bubbles even if you take a draw while covering the air hole? Sounds like you tried just about everything. Hope you didn't get one with a bad machine job. I'm curious to know a fix for dry hits also in case it happens to me. I always got dry hits on my dream tank but have been very lucky with my kayfun. Again grats on staying off the stinkies and hope someone can help you out.
