Hi everyone, would like to ask some help from all the Kayfun masters on here. I just got my Kayfun mini 2.1, set it up according to the user manual, with an inch long piece of 3mm Ekowool on a 4/5 wrap of 30g Kanthal and running at 1.1 ohms on a mechanical mod. My question is, this Kayfun mini has good flavor up to the first third of a tank. After that, the flavor drops off quickly, so much so that by the time I get to half tank, I'm barely tasting the juice. There's lots of vapor all the way so I don't think its dry and there's not a lot of gurgle so I dont think its flooded either. Just lots of vapor and very bland taste.

Hi vapn can you school a newb? What about 3mm makes it bad for a mini? I always thought thicker silica holds more juice and that makes it better. Im asking because I've got other attys and I'm wondering if i should be using thinner silica for those too. Thanks

For my minis, I always use 1mm too, otherwise it blocks the air flow/circulation in order for it to work properly.

I think after the 7th or 8th dry burn you have to change the ekowool, if you're dry burning it at all.

I would like to order the Kayfun v 3.1. What do I need to know prior to ordering? Are there any discount codes out there? Since Cloud 9 is sort of closed, I guess the only option is to order from Russia. Do I need to order any supplies/accesories at the same time so that I do not place two separate orders? Also, does anyone know if they are planning to release a newer version any time soon? If the new version is going to be released soon, it makes sense to wait. Thanks!

No clue about a newer version. Honestly, I can't really think of anything they need to change. I'm sure others can though lol but I love my Kayfuns. They do have a forum so maybe they will mention it there. There's no need to order supplies really because it comes with a spare parts kit and bottle/tip (the bottle is great for cleaning the valve hole in between tanks). Only real add-ons that I got was the clear large tank and the extension tube (but I seriously doubt I'll ever use one because 10 mL in a tank is overkill to me lol). Cloud 9 was open today but I didn't see any in stock. Maybe when they are open on Monday they will have them. Good luck and hope you get one. They are sweet

I am new to this, so maybe I misunderstood, but I think I have read somewhere in this thread that they sell braided wire that work better than the other kind or something like this. No?

Do you have GG Penelope by any chance? I wonder how Kayfun compares to GG Penelope in term of pocketobility, flavor and easy of use.

Neither my 2.1 nor 3.1 came with the bottle tip. Now I'm disappointed. EDIT: Not that I've ever had a problem filling it through the top. I just want to fill through the fill hole.

Ah ok. They send you some wire (nichrome) and ekowool (braided silica), with mine I got one set up worth. I bought from another site tons of ekowool for all my silica rbas. It's the best imho but you can use any silica wick. It's not a glass tank (I wish it was pyrex). It's not pocket friendly like the GG penelope or GP Spheroid. It's much better than the genesis style like ac9s and Zaps since there is no open fill hole but if you lay it down on it's side or it happens to go upside down for too long, I think the manufacturer says it'll cause problems. If anyone knows more about this, please correct me I always keep mine upright for the most part.

Is that straight from svoemesto or a vendor? I may need to ask for my 2 bottles since I have purchased 2 Kayfuns. I'm actually far from disappointed in the product. Best atomizer I own by far. I actually think it is highly pocketable, never had a single leak.

I figured it would be highly pocketable, I was hoping someone would say that lol... I just haven't really used it on the road per se, but I always bring my mini. I got all four at intaste.de or cloud 9 (didn't know about the coupon for the main site though).

My Kayfun 3.1 has been married to my Provari Mini since the day I received the Kayfun. It has only come off for cleaning, filling, and rewicking. It has been in my pocket for many days without a single drop leaked. Now I need to find a mod that matches the beta surface texture and color and I will be a 100% happy camper.

Roller in Ice Matte with Kayfun beta looks good to me. I keep the beta with my roller, and the gamma goes with all the brushed surfaces.

I agree it does look really good. Now I'm off to find a roller or dingo in stock somewhere. This might take a while.

Mini Kayfun? If yes, how do you like it compared to the full size Kayfun? What is the difference between the two other than size?
