So while I wait for the kayfun to arrive, I think it is a good idea to get supplies and start practicing wrapping the coil, which begs the following questions: which wire/wick setup works the best on the kayfun? Where do you guys recommend I get the wire and the wicking materials from? Thanks.

Well its been 1 month to the day since my mini was shipped and nothing even shows on tracking since the 5th of May. This thing will be out dated before it even shows up thank god for my 2 kayfun 3.1's this will be the last time ordering from Russia ill just stick to buying used ones from now on

From the time it leaves Russian customs until it leaves US cutoms it will not show.
Perhaps it's the same in Canada

I prefer not to do difficult. The classic combination: Nichrome (or Canthal) 0.15-0.2 mm 1.5 ohms, selica 1 mm in three layers.
You can use twisted wire. I also used bamboo. A very good result.

Bamboo? Interesting. Can you please post the link(s) to where you get the wire and selica? Thanks.

1.5 ohms is low resistance. Have you tried a higher resistance wire, say, 3 ohms?

Yes. But I prefer 2.5 - 2.8 ohm when used with ProVari or Oval V8.
Using a 1.5 ohm for me more universally - for mech-MOD and electronics.

2.5 - 2.8 ohm is good. The reason I asked is because ProVari does not recommend using low resistance wire.

you sure have some luck when it comes to delivery time....same thing happend with the chi you, it took 2 month's due to customs....its crazy! Hope u get it soon.

Ok, so I am having a heck of a time finding the right plastic needle bottles to fill the Kayfuns here in the states. Grabbed what looked like ones that would work off Amazon, turned out to be a no go.

Anyone got any links to known good ones for the Kayfun?

You can use these with a syringe or luer lock bottle i think its the 14g tip that fits the kayfun but not 100% sure

its the green one that works maybe email them and ask what size the green one is

I like the stock mouthpiece too. Maybe the smaller airhole helps with flavor??

I ordered it yesterday from California. To my astonishment, it was delivered today by three burly Russians wearing pink ski masks. They said that they will give me Kayfun only if I sign the delivery slip with the so-called "Russian signature," which means drinking three shots of Stoli straight up, but if I do six shots of Stoli straight up, I get a bonus package for free. I did six shots and got the bonus package for free, which is a Kayfun Mini. What can I say? Wow! Super fast shipping and great customer service.

P.S. Joking aside, I really did order Kayfun 3.1 ES from them yesterday.

Thanks, yeah I will check with them. As I recall, much like wire gauge, smaller the number larger the size. Could be wrong though for needles!
