Really sounds like too much VG to me. Seems these types of cases are more and more common since so many new vapers are using heavy VG e-liquids, rather than the old standard of 50/50...
call me a cynic but perhaps it is a cheaper way to produce e-liquids? All for the mighty $....

not sure if the VG content is the issue for me - but it may be a more general health issue.....
.
I was using the Tobacco Flavour previous 6 months - same ratio PG/VG (but 24mg Nicotine) - with no problems. I am fairly sure my problems are with dodgy artificial sweeteners. Same as Mr Cromwell - I can't handle artificial sweeteners in foods (like diet coke/pepsi).....they give me a tickly throat. So I guess vaporizing the mega-long chained compounds in artitificial sweeteners intensifies the allergic reaction for me?

I am sitting here staring at my aspire loaded with banana strawberry or some such crapola keen on a nicotine vape but I know it will make me sick.....yet I must wait about 2 weeks for replacement stocks to arrive......bummed! I may have to go and buy some rolling tobacco.

:-x

You can get some NJOY tobacco e-liquid at Walgreens. It's not bad at all and pretty good in a pinch...

Hi all - looking for similar experiences/thoughts suggestions.
Been using a Texas (Big) Brand E-Liquid Marlboro Flav which is a base that's 85% Vegetable Glycerin & 15% Propylene Glycol. This has been great and no ill effects. I was on 24mg mix as well!

Of course the better half complained about the smell - so I chose to diplomatically swap to a variety of "nice" sweet flavours (banana/vanilla/strawberry etc) which I couldn't care less about. I also dropped down to 6mg

Anyway these new sweet flavours are definitely making me sick & I have stopped using them - (feeling kinda edgy now cause I have no Nicotine!!!)

Definitely not the nicotine as I have dropped way down.

Symptoms are definitely apparent straight after using sweetened E_Liquid. They are mainly - Pressure/Sinus-Type Head Aches/Flu-like symptoms like running nose & feeling crappy/nausea. They go away when I stop Vaping.

I never had 1 incident like this on the Tobacco Flavour.

Gonna ask for a refund/swap - so wish me luck. I'm a loooong way from Texas!

Most undiluted tobacco eliquids and sweet flavors would make me sick as well. I can take a few vapes but after that I have to stop, but if I kept vaping I think I would get sick too.

I buy unflavored eliquid at a higher nicotine level than the flavored eliquid and I mix them at about 50/50. This mellows the taste, increases the nicotine level, and saves money because the unflavored eliquid is cheaper.

And if you dropped down in nicotine that could be causing you to vape more and then making you sicker.

And I have had people complain about the smell of high end tobacco flavored eliquid, but I have got very few complaints on most low end/regular tobacco flavors. I would assume there are tobacco eliquids out there people would not notice or be bothered by.

Chad.

like your thinking Chad. Going to do exactly as you suggest

But I don't think I actually vaped any more or less with lower sweetened liquid. In fact I started feeling crook almost straight away and have used it very reluctantly since ( now not at all)....sending 5 x 30ml barely used bottles back to Texas for swaps with unflavoured high nicotine....great suggestion mate!

I just put some Nutty Banana eliquid in my ecig and its not good. I can actually feel myself getting light headed and I think if I continued vaping that stuff I would get nauseated, and perhaps even suffer effects similar to yours.

Keep on trying eliquids from different vendors and I believe you can find one that you will like, and find one that will not offend the people around you.

Have a good one,
Chad.

well thanks all - very civilized & informative chat. Like the forum. I am dubious as to the intentions of some e-cig retailers - I believe this site should strive to encourage research into ethical ingredients and highlight potential health issues with dodgy additives. That makes sense to me. Weed out the bad and promote the good. Vaporizing artificial complex compounds is a human health pandoras box that I had never even considered before.....
