It is one hundred percent individual and some folks who dislike any kind of sweetness really struggle to even find flavor mixes that work.
With that said, the nice thing about sweeteners (most of them) is that you really don't have to steep, usually adding the sweetener, shaking and vaping is all that is required. If you know some juices are too sweet (commercial ones) there is absolutely NO reason not to start without it.
I use some EM sweetened juices in small quantities more for layering and mouthfeel but you can also overdo it, as EM can mute certain flavors.
I use sucralose as my primary sweetener when I use it, and it's usually about 1 drop per 30 ml if I use it at all, although there are certain recipes I always use it in.
I have no clue as to whether certain sweeteners are dangerous to inhale, although I've heard mutterings on the subject, I tend to not worry so much given the amount of sweetener I use. I'm more worried about my diet pepsi habit, frankly and was glad when they switched back to aspartame. LOL.
