Hi people. Well i have been vaping for a little under a week, total. When i first started... i was still smoking analogs becuase I had come to the decision to wein myself off of them becuase I like my cigs to much to just quit cold turkey -- I also thought I needed an adjustment period to become used to my rn4081 over analogs. Well ever since I started vaping I would have 2-5 analogs a day... and everything seemed fine as I was slowly degressing. 2 days ago... I had gotten up AVOIDED THE MORNING .... (decided to vape instead, becuase that's how it's going to have to be from now on lol..) and went all day without a cig. Around 7PM i was driving... and IDK about you guys but when I'm driving the urge to have a .... just kind of skyrockets... and i lit up a newport. The feeling was euphoric and i loved it. After about 3/4 way through the cig... I began to feel slightly nauseous (no big deal, at the time, though). So about 30 minues later I get back home, and by this point I have the most horrific cramps of my life. I couldn't sit still for 30 seconds I was cringing so much. After a little ginger ale, the nausea was curbed and it was time for bed. I woke up at least 15 times during the night pouring sweat, and running to the toilet to projectile vomit. I have never projectile vomited in my life... so this was an experience lol. After every time i vomited, I would chug some water becuase I assumed that with each vomit, I was becoming more and more dehydrated... hence the water chugging. But each time after the first time I was sick, my projectile vomit consisted of water and a little bile only. The cramps continued throughout... so did the horrible sweating and lack of appetite. I also maintained a fever of 100.1 - 100.7 until this morning it has leveled itself out. I'm not too sure what to classify this as at this point -- and was hoping to get some help from people who have experienced anything similar. I dont know if this is viral, bacterial, an overdose, a withdrawl from the bad crap in cigs... or what. I have also noticed that my sweat WREAKS (not that sweat doesn't always smell bad, but this is noticably different), along with my urine. I'm pretty sure this is my body ridding itself of the toxins that were in the butts.

Some plusses I'll add since I quit..
-My chest no longer hurts!
-My throat no longer hurts!
-The phlegm in the back of my throat doesnt tase like SH** anymore!
-I dont smell bad! lol. and I dont have people telling me all the time "you smell like a cigarette"

Any input is appreciated.. Thx

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to mention... I am using 16MG e-liquid, and used to smoke 1/2-1 pk a day of analogs.

it's probably a combination of your body detoxing and that nasty stomach flu that's been going around.

Yeah I wouldn't doubt that. Because all of my friends that see my puffing on a e-cig have to "try it out" and if they get no for an answer.. they just don't stop -- so i usually let them try it out lol. I didn't think anything of this considering all the shared analogs back in the day and never got sick too many time from it. This illness put an end to the sharing of the e-cig lol.

I just didnt know if this was sure signs of an OD, a WD... or maybe some side - effects of beginning to vape!? Thanks everybody for the quick responses...

I'm not a doctor but you might have gone overboard on the nicotine; using the vape and the analogs at same time when before vaping you only smoked a half a pack. The symptoms of nicotine OD can include
Vomiting and nausea, ........
Headaches
Difficulty breathing
Pallor
Sweating
Palpitations
Stomach pains/cramps
Seizures
Weakness
Drooling
(yup - drooling)

these symptoms can also be attributed to many other ailments, but Id just be careful if you are vaping alot - even though your nic mg in the juice isnt very high (sort of meium high) it may be a whole lot more nic than you were getting just from smoking alone.
The GOOD news is you aren't getting all the other crap that analogs give off.
Perhaps try vaping the nic ejuice only when you crave a real ciggie and try the non nic stuff for when you just want to suck on the stick for fun an flavor? (I speak as someone who got one of the first symptoms listed, and followed that advice, with great success.)

happy vaping :)

Fever makes it sound like your body's been fighting some kind of systemic infection. I don't know if nicotine OD would cause measurable hyperthermia, but given your other symptoms it seems like you just got unlucky with a stomach illness. Sucks. :(

Too much nicotine can cause nausea -- and other symptoms as CaptJay listed -- and I'm guessing your threshold for it was just lowered a lot by whatever your body's been fighting.
Glad you're feeling better.

If it happens again GO to the doctor. It could be a gallbladder attack or worse. You can die if your gallbladder bursts. I know because it happened to me. I kept blaming the vomiting on my sinus drainage. Happy to hear you are feeling better.

and this can be caused by vaping/smoking analogs?

this whole pain/nausea/sweating thing happened again last night but without the vomiting. I have also noticed some of my muscles are achey, and all over my abdomen i have quick sharp pains that feel somewhat like gas... or something -- idk. Then besides those i will get the wretched cramps right in the middle of my abdomen that are horrible. I am a person who is ALWAYS wanting a drink. Usually I am happy with water. I don't care if its morn, night, or if i just ate or am starving.. i will never say no to some water. until now. i cant even take a sip without feeling grotesque.

I hope this is just a bug or something.. Probably going to go to the doctor...

Understood.. But i was under the impression that nicotine is expelled from your body relatively quickly, am I wrong? Nicotine OD/WD wouldn't leave me ill for days, would it? And that 1/2 - 1 pack was more toward the 1 whole pack/day if anything.. lol
