That is SO MUCH more of a worthwhile conversation to have! Thanks for sharing it, and at my next doctor's appointment, I am going to bring it in. I know my vaping doctor would be happy to have a "study" that allowed him to not just recommend vaping but to explain some of the trials and tribulations along the way.

Except that study was conducted by THR opponents to criticize all vapers who still smoke (aka dual users), while failing to acknowledge that all smokers who have quit smoking by vaping were dual users for a period of time.

The study's authors claim a desire to encourage smokers to completely switch to vaping, while advocating indoor vaping bans that were/are intended to protect cigarettes by duping the public to believe vaping is as harmful as smoking and to discourage smokers from switching to vaping.

I know I struggled to switch. Definitely helped to get more informed. The guy at a vape-shop near my work was really helpful, recommended I read this too - Smoking VS Vaping – Evapo Blog - as a basis for the differences. Pretty informative.
