The black looks awesome. Is that a matte black or just a trick of the light?
Yeah buddy Matt black all over other than the ss parts, nice stealth look to it. It is actually different to the usual sxmini finishes and has a sort of textured feeling to the paint, feels great in the hand.

Nice (and thanks)! I always prefer a matte, but shiny usually seems to take the prize.

Marvelous look, and excellent review. Thanks, Stan.

You will not regret it mate, it is absolutely top notch! Love mine more each day and the black is a lovely finish, really grippy. I'd like to add red to my collection too when they are avaliable.

Knowing Cremedevape you will have yours very soon, enjoy it mate.

Well been a few weeks with the Q mini now and I love it even more, not missed a beat, battery life is so good and for a dual battery mod its very pocket friendly. Also I can confirm after a couple of knocks and quite a nasty fall the paint job is holding up very well, YiHi did a great job here.

I went through a lot of mods during 2016 but the Q mini took the crown.

Like all modern SXmini's the Qmini uses a YiHi chipset which does TC with pulse width modulation.

Simply put, you can't fire a low wattage build (<25W/25J) with full Joules (120J) and not expect to feel, sense or hear some pulsing or "non-smoothness" in the vape.

Some DNA users claim that they can ALWAYS detect YiHi's PWM, personally I can only detect it if I attempt to overdrive a build. (much like quite a few other chipsets other than DNA)

I currently have a KFv5 clone mounted with a NiFe built being fired at a mere 15J that I'll take 4-6sec pulls on that are smooth as silk.

What's the resistance on that coil, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking for the same experience, but running the Atlantis 2 and the Uwell Crown, both have coils built around .15.

And my Q Mini is in the mailbox at home. Can't freaking wait.

Im surprised this Mod isn't getting more love. I am guessing the G-class took over the SX Mini discussion. I had bought a G-Class, and wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be. It was definitely on the large size, the joystick on mine fell off, and I was not liking where they placed the button.

I returned it, and purchased the Q Mini, and this is a night and day improvement to the experience I had with the G Class or any other Yihi mode I have had in the past. This mod is rock solid. My complaint with the single 18650 versions was always battery life, and paint finish. The original Q looked to be a little too large for what I was looking for. This Q Mini got everything right. The Bluetooth works as advertised, only thing is it doesn't appear to be able to upgrade the firmware, is this just me or anyone else? The device fires immediately, the powerful setting on my Nautilus X is excellent, and for the most part, I keep it on Novice for simple pick it up and just use it experience. Yihi really stepped up their game on this mod, such a rock solid device.

With the purchase of the Qmini my "Q" fell out of my mod rotation. I'm currently juggling a Qmini, SXminiM and a Alien. I'd agree that YiHi got a lot "right" with this mod however I think the BT app at this point is fairly to completely worthless and surely not a selling point.

The Qmini does deliver a good solid YiHi experience with 2x18650's, something that a early release IPV6x completely failed at.
