SX350 Box Mod in progress

Decided to get myself a SX350 chip and build a box mod. Will have a metal trim top and bottom and the body will be walnut wood.

A few pics so far....

Dimensions I am aiming for are H100mm x W50mm x D25 mm.
8mm trim top and bottom (thinner than in the pic).

Just done a little bit on it today, nothing's fixed yet so frame is just sat in for pic..

I've also got the usb socket milled out and connectors made ready to put together tomorrow, i'll post more pics when done.

I got the SX350, switch and Fat Daddy connector from a UK website. ModMaker.co.uk One of the better stockists in UK for mod making gear.

I am just waiting for some epoxy to dry then I can fit it together and fire her up. Will update probably later tonight or tomorrow.

Almost done.... wasn't happy with the window/frame so still deciding what to do with that and it needs a good polish up.
But here it is working so far. (still have to drill vent holes yet which I nearly forgot about in the rush to see it working).

size comparison with Provari 18500 and 18650.

On with making a charging stand to match now..

made a start on the stand.. will finish it tomorrow.

Just to drill for the Fibre optic/led's then sand and polish the base and fit everything in.

Charging stand is done, lights red when charging and turns blue when fully charged or nothing on. It'll do for on my desk
