I have posted about this before but I'm putting it back out for those that didn't see it or forgot.
This is how I handle the spit back or whatever you would like to call it. Fold 3 times the correct size and cut off excess. I squeeze out the excess each time I refill boro. They next to forever or until you lose it.

The idea is to catch it, I see no way to stop it really.

I hate the leaking so I never used mine more than a couple times.
C.B.

What kind? The boro tank with the sliding window? Or the kind that uses a fill plug? The formal, they should ship them without the gasket installed. Because when they install the gasket dry at the factory and some of them gets stretched. Once they stretch, they will leak. The fix is to buy spare gaskets. But they should include a spare as far as I am concerned anyway.

And that old technique of adding a smudge of lubricant (I prefer pg to vg) to the gasket after first removing the dry boro glass super- carefully makes all the difference. I've never had a stretched gasket following that process.
It probsbly depends on how long it's been stored dry from the factory too.
I got a couple of new boros last week and one of them was very tricky at first. Took me a long while to remove the glass the first time from the dry gasket. Once done and lubed - all good.

I know a few of you have and like the Dope RBA.
This photo is a deck comparison between the 5A clone on the left, and the SXK on the right.

I thought I was getting a bit more, or smoother air from the 5A.

Both have 3mm ID af inserts and the same builds. This might explain it.

I like the looks of the 5A deck more....might be the photo, but it looks better quality.
Uh help me out here mate....I think i might be missing something.
The only difference I see is the raised edges around the clamp screws. The SXK is clearly taller. How that would impact on flavor...i'm not sure.

Not sure about flavour but it's such a tiny, condensed chamber that the bigger clamps on the SXK might be doing stuff to the airflow. Kind of guessing here but there is a small difference when you vape.
No big deal. Both great attys.
I might search up a pic of the OG deck to see which clone is closer.

EDIT Just had a look at Todd's review of the authentic Vapeware Mods Dope and it looks like the clamps are somewhere in between. So that nicely confuses the issue o_O

That makes sense. When the air comes in from the bottom, it fills and flows around the chamber. That taller clamps in the way is definitely an obstruction.
Pity we cant see the OG deck side on. If its tall like the SXK, it might well be that the 5A has a smoother airflow than the OG

I'm surprised that a difference can be detected by the user. Is the coil on both exactly the same distance from the air outlet?
I know - it seems a bit ridiculous and I don't have a very sensitive pallette but I do notice a difference. More about the airflow than the flavour.
I tried my best to make the coils the exact same height from the air hole.

Condensation?

Most bottom airflow atomizers OTOH will leak a bit just after you top fill them. Once a vacuum builds up they usually stop. The temporary fix is just after filling, tilt them upside (down) for a few minutes (with paper towel or something that can catch what comes out the drip tip, if any).

Damn...my one and only BB just gave me an almighty scare.
Been coming for some time actually. It didn't make good contact sometimes and I had to spin the battery until it flickers into action again.
I replaced this ancient negative spring contact with the screw one a few days ago....that sorted the battery replacement problems. All along I thought the problem was because of the negative spring not making good connection, but
this morning it behaved in such a manner that I thought the chip is packing up...it lights up the screen but don't fire....first thought is the chip is going.
I got that sinking feeling of 'why didn't I stock up on a spare chip long ago'.
In desperation I did the next best thing...fine sanding paper on both contacts, clean it out with contact cleaner, and put a film of dielectric grease (only because I have some that I never get to use) onto that shining new contacts.
Started it up and it worked beautifully. It definitely fires better than it has in a while.
Love it when plan B comes together :D

Sounds like you have ejuice build up on your inner screen or down the positive pin from flooding and condensation.. Thats what happen to one of my early bbs so now I seal them from the outside positive pin and remove the screen plate after leaks and get all the excess liquid with a Qtip. I also remove the tank every 3 to 4 days and wipe it all down. You just got to love BB life!!!

This is going to sound funny but I just stick a Qtip down the driptip into the rabbit hole and after a few spins it's all dry.. Qtips have become my best defense against condensation and under borro pooling...
