White sxk and mission xv orbit clone came in. I’m really liking the mission.

Sxk must be having some production hiccups. Have you guys ever experienced this in your Sxk bb’s. My two are supposed to be from the same batch. However the inner panels are completely different sizes. Also the doors are completely different. My silver one has rattle and this white one is perfect.

Nice setup. Where did you get the flat black screw set? Looking for a set thats not going to cost me 30.00 with shipping..

About the rattle on your box. Make sure you battery is seated all the way in. Also hold the rba in place when you tightening the negative nut. If its still rattling its probably the magnet placement on the panel's. Its probably a little bit off...

Are they torx (star) screws?

If so... measure the ones you have and look here...

Albany County Fasteners

They're like 0.37 cents each. Worst case... trim off any excess. Ain't gonna cost no $30 with shipping either.

There are many places who specialize in selling screws of all sizes. Google, or the DuckDuck place, are your friend. :D

If you don’t need fancy colors you can get screws from hardware supply. M2*6 and m2*3 are the sizes.

McMaster-Carr

You can probably find some on ali as well. The ones I got kinda suck. Pretty much useable for one install and disassembly before the hex head strips. but they were…45 cents per 100.

Also rather annoying the tank portion of my sxks also have different tolerances.

And the tolerance of the mission xv is also very poor. It only fits in the white bb. Does not fit in my pulses or the silver one. It’s like no one is checking these things.

I dont see the sizes you pointed out to me....I actually dont want to install cut down screws that can mess up the treading on the box....Anyone willing to trade for black screws? I have pink and blue brand new screws. Also if you can find the link for the correct size black screws on McMasters, can you send it to me....

Also Im in the second step of sealing the positive on the black bb to avoid damage from flooding and seeping...

Hey Bad. I was just thinking about sealing the positives on my BB's. Been having some leak problems lately and seeing juice leaking out of the chip compartment makes me nervous. I've been keeping them sitting on the side on a piece of paper towel so any leaks come out of the air holes. Don't know why, I haven't had leaks for a long time as long as I don't let the juice get too low and change the batteries before they get down there.

I remember seeing the sealing process documented in this thread a long time ago. Do you by any chance have a link to that?

Well, it's white. I have an old white Silver Bullet that got dropped and dinged all around the base, paint chipped off and gouges in the metal. I fixed it with the stuff you use to repair dings on white enamel stove tops. It dries hard as rock and you can file and polish it to shape after it sets. It's not a perfect color match but you have to look closely to see the repair.

It was a few years ago. I found this unopened in a tub with assorted vape tools so this is probably what I used. I remember it was a two part epoxy which is what this one is. I read a lot of reviews. Two part epoxy was reckoned to be the hardest.

I remember some of the stove manufacturers sell their own version which matches the particular shade of white they use on their stoves. There are lots of choices. For something classy like your BB I would probably pick up a few of them and see which matches your color best. It will fill in deep dings, just put it on in thin layers and try to match the surface profile. I did end up with it sticking up a little too far in a couple of places. I cut it back with a needle file then polished it with some abrasive paste. You have to be careful not to hit the existing paint so it was a fiddly job.

I am in desperate need of two black screw sets made for the Sxk or auth BB. Looking for cerakote or oxidized screws here in the U.S.. Im not buying from overseas, its to expensive with shipping.. Also they have to fit the Sxk bb, not cut down to size. Cut down screws can damage the threads on the aluminum...

I don’t really understand. McMaster carr parts are of higher quality then the entire billet box.
