SXK Billet box...

I haven't rebuilt since I was using an Erlkonigin rta a few years ago, my eyes have certainly deteriorated a bit since then, might have to look into some glasses soon, damn old age, lol ...

The Crossbow was easy enough to build, just did 10 turns of 0.3mm kanthal, 2mm ID = 1.7ohms, I like it ! .. A lot of throat hit with my 50/50 3mg juice, I might mix up some 70/30 tomorrow to smooth it out.. I LOVE the condensation/airflow plugs that came with the Crossbow, they're just what I needed to gag the BB airflow down to suit my preferred very tight draw...

And no battery % on mine (from china), the % must be a Pro~vapes thing?:

The Nahualon was quite the tight genny, that single 1mm air hole could raise a few veins on your forehead getting a draw.

It seem none of the chinese ones have it, older firmware maybe?.. It must be an added perk for those that spend the extra money at Provapes and the likes..

I've just built up the SXK Insider V2, I'm not sure if this is a common issue but I couldn't tighten the screws without chopping off the coil legs, they were either loose or chopped off, I wasted a few coils trying to get one tight without cutting the legs off, it wasn't possible... It "might" be ok with thicker wire...

I ended up running a small drill bit back and forth by hand through the leg holes to remove any burrs, and I also held the screws in a pin-vise and rounded off the ends a bit on some fine "wet & dry" emery/sand-paper...

All good now but I might try to find some better screws, these ones are really crap...

I just used some cheap pre-made 0.3mm nichrome, 3mm ID, 1.8ohm coils I got from FT 4 years ago, ($1.78 for 50):

The coils are wound in the wrong direction but they mount ok:

Using the smallest airflow insert and chimney is perfect for me, I like it more than the Crossbow at the moment, but that could be down to different coils or such...

Edit: Just realized there's a couple of grub screws in with the spare o-rings that came with the Insider, the ends of them look better than the phillips head screws that were installed, I might give them a try when I rebuild it next time...

Got my gold BB from Legend gadget today,as well as the Boxxer and Vapeshell,then got my Never normal doughnut tip and a few packs of SSOCC coils as well.Got my brass Jmk Busto+,brass button and black delrin button all yesterday.Still have 2 A-tanks,an insider,7 boro tanks,some spare glass and gaskets,another set of acrylic panels,and a few other odds and ends coming,plus just pre ordered the Sxk Xeta.After all this shows up,i might be done haha.

Haha,yeah,i have to try everything haha.
It's funny,back around the Memorial day sales,i bought my first Sxk BB.I also got the Vapeshell and some pre built coils to try out.I could not get good flavor from any of it,got aggravated,and traded it all off around July.Shortly thereafter,i regretted getting rid of it because i had planned to try some of the other rebuildables,so the only logical thing to do was buy another one,which i did a few weeks ago,i found a good deal on a used one.The Kanger coils got me where i wanted to be with this mod,so the next logical step was obvious.Buy another BB,as well as all the other rebuildables i wanted to try the first time and didn't haha.

the sxk clear panels make the fire button protrude slightly more as they're thinner but not overly so.
think I'll get a sticker for the other side as it's a wee bit too much solid colour when these are on

That figures,i debated between ordering the YFTK and SXK,and decided to go with the Sxk version because YFTK almost never meets their pre order dates,but when i don't go with them they get it right haha.
