waited so long to pick one up im going to play with it for a bit
Have you tried the sub tank rba that came with it?A lot of people really like the Vapeshell, but in my first few attempts with it,i just could not get it where i like it,although i was able to get the subtank rba where i liked it.I bought another Vapeshell this time around, but i haven't even messed with it yet because that was where most of my frustration came from the first time around.I'm actually finding the Kanger SSOCC heads to be really good in these mods too, that's what i've been using for about a week now with good results.

i didnt have any decent results with the Vape Shell or Subtank Rba but found a couple Subtank coils never used in the box from tank , .5 clapton coil, the skinny ones ,
they seem to keep up with wicking so far,
when i look around on sites i see the fat ones, are they the same just fat and larger diameter?https://www.fasttech.com/products/3007/10009412/6320200

Wicking's tricky with the Vapeshell. I've found using a 3mm id micro clapton with the wicks trimmed along the edge of the sides so you end up with almost a cotton bow tie works best. You don't stuff the cotton down into the wicking holes - quite the reverse. When you've trimmed your bow tie shape and wet the wick thoroughly you then tip the vapeshell upside down and use a thin coiling rod to poke the cotton up from underneath so there's a tiny space between wicking holes and wick. I got this (I think) from the Atmizoo site. The main problem then is making sure you don't jam it too hard into the boro. There's such a small space between the bottom of the boro and the wick holes. I spent months tweeking my vapeshells and when they're good they're great. Insider's easier even though the flavour's not quite as good

Funny, I had never noticed the 2 little batteries or the ram on the Vapcells until I saw your photo...

Yeah, wicking is where i had the issues with it.I would either get dry hits or leaks every time i tried it.My last attempt with it was ok,it would start to dry hit if i didn't leave it sit a few minutes between draws.I'm not sure, but i think part of my issues may be from the fact that my juice is 70vg,and like you mention, that the holes are so close to the bottom of the boro.I could be wrong, and it could be all due to the wicking though.

I believe they are pretty close to the same. The ones you linked to are what i'm using, and having good luck with. You can get them cheaper and faster from Central vapors though. They sell singles for $1.59 or a 5 pack for $7.55,if you buy 2 5 packs it's free shipping.

Of topic but damn, why i keep seeing broken picture links. I can't even see own pics with taptalk...do I have to buy the add block to see my pics? What's the new ECF address for taptalk? I had 2 versions the old and the new but one disappeared.

This thread talks about some tapatalk issues last year:

I use 70 vg too. My cotton is never tight. I also forgot to mention that I use the wide chimney and the second widest airflow insert. Best of luck - it's worth persevering. Maybe check out the Todds review

I was looking at these tanks the other day that take an Insider bridge thinking what a great idea:
SXK Steam Tuners Style RTA Silver 316SS 3ml 22mm Rebuildable Atomizer

and look what appears today! A tank that seems to take all the BB bridges!

Immersion Atomizer for SXK MTL RBA / Vapeshell / Inders / Exocet

I'd be surprised if a Vapeshell fitted in there..

It appears it might be bottom fill?

The rabbit-hole just gets deeper and deeper !

RE: Immersion Atomizer for SXK MTL RBA (BB Bridge Tank)

It's a copy of the SVT Tell Tank:
Tell - SVT

An Italian? SVT Tell video, I can't understand it but it's a good visual overview of the tank:

For the price I'll probably grab one, the chances are I wont use it but it will be good to have the option to use the BB bridges in a tank on a tube mod or such if the urge strikes.. It might allow me to get more use out of all these bridges in the future, especially if one of the bridges ends up being an all time favorite vape... It might be handy for the vape doomsday preppers also...

I assume they've gone for the bottom fill to avoid flooding when refilling, but flooding doesn't seem to be too much of an issue in the BB tanks so it probably wont be an issue in this tank either...

I'm not sure I like the bottom fill, with the base being fairly thin it looks like it might be a pain to unscrew to refill while mounted on a mod... It's a pity they haven't worked a top-fill into it, it could be as simple as a little rubber fill plug under that top metal ring so you could just pull the top ring off and pull a rubber plug out to refill, I guess it would need a vent also though, or have an elongated hole and plug so it can vent while filling ... (that might be a good DIY mod if they release spare plastic tanks at a reasonable price) ...

The 3Fvape page says it's for the Vapeshell, after watching the video I'm 100% sure the Vapeshell wont fit, all the other bridges should be ok though.
