SXK Billet box...

So i've been enjoying the EUC coil for the last few weeks, but as things go with me, it was time for a change again.
I received the flat wire and the new Insider (broke the other one...) I ordered so I built myself this lovely little 2.5mm Kanthal coil....0.5ohm. I have to say i'm thoroughly impressed with flat wire. Don't think i'll go back to round some time soon. The flavor and clouds it brings is up there with claptons. I actually think its better.
Got some SS to. Will try that to, but i'll have to go much lower on the ohms to fit the Insider.

What gage are you using?

I got these ones as i think that 0.15 ohm is a bit rowdy for the BB at 60 watts max

I gave up and went to bed. Now I have got to get this darn thing out because I LOVE this vape. Ordered another boro box and another set of coils with sleeve because I have a feeling I might need to start from scratch

I keep 3 tanks, two regular and an A tank. I build the Kanger RDA and the Vapeshell and keep them ready to go, and the other as whatever I need. So swapping tanks is a breeze.

What bridge do you need to use the melo heads? might give the .6 ohm a shot if not going to cost a lot to test em.

They fit in the A-tank I think

Yep...i've got the Mod Factory bridge and the sleeve for the EUC's so I can run them in the standard or the A-tank....I just haven't got round to building my other BB yet because the Vapeshell gives such a fantastic vape and flavour

Yes the very same...it'll fit both the standard and the A-tank. I am still on the fence about getting one because of the 30 watt limit/18350 thing. Definitely needs 1 ohm builds if you're going to get any battery life....it will suit the MTL guys

Kanthal 0.68 × 0.27mm. Its 25 AWG

Let’s see what these are like then....I just copied this from an BB FB group I am in and they look good. More and more of the coils made are being redone with mesh so there will be a better coil for the BB soon.

From what I've heard and seen it is still the EUC ceramic that give the best flavour...what do you all think ??

The EUCs give me the best flavor with the eLeaf Mesh a close second. Depending on how well the Nautilus mesh performs, I might just pick up a Nautilus bridge and check them out.

No need to buy another bridge as they will work in the A-tank I thought? Is the nautilink just to allow them in the standard boro?

I don't have a Nautilus bridge and that bridge is for the standard boro. I don't think they make a Nautilus bridge for the A-Tank.

SXK BB comes with nautilus bridge, it's what I am using right now with the 0.7 ohm nautilus coils, and just uses the standard boro tank.

I think there is great and useful info in both threads for the SXK and authentic, as can use most addons/bridges on both.

I think they will be about the same as the normal 0.7 coils, holes look the same, I MTL with the 0.7 ohm coil, and I like a loose MTL vape, probably get a restricted DL from it, but haven't seen any reviews on them yet, I keep searching for stores to get them, aspire's store says in stock, but with shipped it's nearly $18 for 1 pack, want to try them, but not for that price and have to wait 2-4 weeks to get that 1 pack.

I always liked the idea of the billet box, but I didn't pursue because I haven't found a dealer here in the UK with all the necessary parts, which I would buy as I progress - and not in one single, very large money outlay at the beginning. I don't buy direct from China.
