The mod still hits weak for me but it works a little better then before
I figure that you might have some of these blue foam squares around. I suggest cutting a small piece that can be fitted between the piece of broken contact and the brass piece that you added in order to get maximum amp transfer from cell to contact. Just a suggestion.

Very versatile foam, makes a great button spring too on the OG lost vape Drone when all the little arms have broken.

I recently picked up a rev 4 SXK and I'm having issues with the one door staying on without it wiggling. Can someone tell me if replacing the panels would allow for a better fit?
They're normally spot on....i'm assuming that you mean one of your panels is smaller than it should be.

Any other you can get should be spot on but check that it isn't caused by something else...such as an incorrectly seated magnet or something.

Good luck :)

Yep definitely getting one. Here's a breakdown of the parts.

Seems it only available through Facebook again. Don't like that much.
They're being released in batches of around 2-300. I put my name down (or i thought i had) and it turned out that i'd x1'd the wrong post :(

All feedback is saying good things :) I'll get on the next list....I hope.

Yes I do and thats a super good idea. Not only will it prevent the contact from possibly touching the frame but making it sturdy for a better connection. I have to see if I can slide it in from the side. Im so afraid to open this mod up again. There's Tiny thin wires that I feel I would never be able to solder back.... I dont understand why they just didnt make the negative on top screwed to the frame and postive on bottom like the BBs configuration...

That happens from the battery not being pushed in all the way, the battery having double wraps, or there's a small imperfection from poping the battery in to hard creating a small bump on the other side.. Eventually it will even itsself out and you will barely feel it wiggle. Then again it could be the panel not having flush magnets, Idk, you might want to take a closer look. I spotted the little bump on mine from poping the battery in.

From the looks of it it one of the magnets is ever so slightly higher then the other.

Anything I can do?

Ok so inspecting the panel I noticed the 2 magnets ever so slightly recessed into the panel which explains the annoying rocking..

Since I plan on ordering something with a little more visual appeal I want to see if there's a way to pop out the magnets in order to re mount them into the stock G10 Panel. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated.

For the record this isn't a brand new device.

As @TrollDragon said use a fine blade to gently cut round the magnet to then carefully prise it out. Ideally you need to discover which magnet is causing the problem as it could be either the magnet on the body being to high or the door....or a combination of both.

When you've got the magnet out another technique would be to gently sand the back of the magnet down on some wet n dry. Re-glue with super glue...just a drop so that it doesn't overspill.

And don't glue it in backwards... ;)

Out of four of my SXK BB, my gold one the battery side panel would rock like this. It wasn't on the SXK BB side, but the panel magnet. I just tapped the magnet slightly deeper in the panel and it has been fine ever since. :)
