Cool, thanks...am based on the other side of the globe. May make more sense for me to buy from china direct though.
Very true since it is not an expensive piece.
Normally yes, but now economy shipping from China already has a two month backlog. Just isn't enough flights to and from China. No telling when you will see it. Hopefully before Christmas, but I wouldn't bet on it.![]()

Not sure on the Grizzly, but the BBGen is made for genesis style builds, mesh wick sticking down in there with a vertical coil.I would guess the Grizzly is probably the same.Where do you mount your coil in that one? Kind of looks like maybe it is for a vertical coil build.![]()

It seems the Grizzly has mesh around the center and the coil around that, I only skipped across this video, I don't think it shows how to build it:
I've never used mesh before so I might give this a miss..
Edit: this english vid shows a build:
I can't make up my mind if this is brilliant or moronic. Definitely a lot more work than usual, but if it vapes good, you'd practically never have to open it really. You could just blow through it while heating the coil to clean the coil/mesh wick. Maybe thoroughly clean it once in a while.
It looks to be only able to handle low wattage, I could be wrong of coarseWell if it is like the Genesis, the mesh is just the wick. The Genesis you wrapped wire around the mesh to make a coil.
I mashed the battery contact down with a pair of (cloth shielded) pliers. I could barely get the battery in and out before. I don’t use that deck, so not familiar with it. It’s little vapor no matter what you set the watts to?Hey folks - I joined the club. Got it today.
I fired it up with the insert that looks like a STM deck. 1.2ohm coil just because I had a load of them already wrapped. It was a pain to install. The deck is a little different from the STM deck. The screws wouldn't hold the coil legs until I actually wrapped them around the screws. Flavorful, but hot and very little vapor. Guess this is going to take some work to get the hang of.
Really hard to get the battery in. Not looking forward to taking it back out. Is there a way of reducing the spring on the negative contact. Also the door on the battery side rocks with a battery in. Pretty sure it's the battery sticking up too far.
Thanks due to @NolaMel for holding my hand during the long frustrating wait. Turned out Gas City had put the wrong tracking # in my email. The one they sent me showed up in USPS tracking but it never got past label created. By the time I got around to calling them yesterday and getting the real tracking # it had already arrived at my local sorting office. It went by sea down to SF, guess that's because there aren't many planes flying these days.
All suggestions welcome. Especially want to hear from people who don't think I need to buy a bunch of extra bits and pieces. Just joking. I know I'm doomed.

Yeah, the Exocet has terrible screws for use in an atomizer like this too. We went into that a bit HEREMy sweet spot is .23 to .25 omhs, at 25 to 28 watts. Doesnt get hot when I chain vape and produces decent vaper. I use 24G wire on most of my bb builds but I had to change the screws on a few attys to grip the 24G wire. Hope this helps.

Yep. The negative contact comes out easy. Just put it in a cloth and gently squeeze it with some pliers. It's best to under do it and have to do it a couple times than it is to over do it and have to try to pull it apart again. This has to be a stupidly easy thing to adjust during manufacturing. I don't know why they don't just make them a bit looser.I mashed the battery contact down with a pair of (cloth shielded) pliers. I could barely get the battery in and out before.
Yeah, I did get that. Could be good... maybe. No experience with something like that at all. If I thought I might see it before I was in a nursing home, I'd probably grab one to play with.Well if it is like the Genesis, the mesh is just the wick. That's probably true. Seems like the juice might vaporize too fast off of a mesh wick for higher power. I could be wrong too and it might not be bad for mtl though even if it is.It looks to be only able to handle low wattage, I could be wrong of coarse
