Wondering what people think of the sxk doggy vs the regular berserker?

With the understanding that there's a lot of subjectivity here lol....

I much prefer the Doggy over the Berserker. Better flavour, slightly better draw, better size, easier to work with.

Another wicking question for you doggy pros ;)

What sort of trim do you use for the doggy? I do a bowtie like in the pic below (courtesy of Google). Is there a better way?

I just snip it to length then shove it down in there (so to speak). If I put any less effort into wicking the Dawgs there'd be no cotton (and no vape!).

Dang things just WORK (and work, and work, and...)

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Ange, the Doggerz are prolly one of the most forgiving and loving tanks with decks that will accept a smile and a strand of wick. You don't need to New Year's Eve them in any way.

Shove, trim (umm), liquify, and vape!

Do the Burger King thang.

For me personally, I've learnt now not to trim the tails until they are wet, as before I'd often remove too much or not enough. It's easier to see how much wick you've actually got and to shape it once it's wet and I'll then shape it and trim it to the width of the channel, remove a slither off the top if needed, and then drop it straight into the channel and on to the lower deck.

A really really sharp pair of small scissors is key I've found and cuts through the wet wick like butter without pulling or misshaping it :)

Same, and ordered some different colored tanks to go with it too :D
I can't wait to see the liquid control and how it will work.

The authentic Doggies don't use an oring between the base and tank. They must be made really well.

Nice!! When using rayon, I probably trim my tails about 1/3rd less than this...I also just cut straight across , but like your bowtie.

The SJMY version doesn't use an oring there either. I prefer the clear of the SXK, but like the SJMY for the draw, and the threading is a little better.

Since even the SXK doesn't require much tightening, I'd think it could probably do without the oring as well.
