I think it went the other way??? IDK... Tracking says it arrived in Atlanta on the 5th. It also said it was in the US a week ago... Any day now

Atlanta??? Hmmm! Yeah - maybe they rolled it across the continent, over the Atlantic, and southbound for some Georgia peaches?

I say it arrives today. Let us know!

@Brewdawg1181 - I eyed up the true rta when it came out too. What is the draw/airflow like compared to the sjmy?
A little tighter, Ange- even on the largest setting. But not too much, and it is still loose enough for me.
But, more info to come.

Little update here. I found already that the True isn't as forgiving as the doggy. Was absolutely in love with the vape on this last night, but this morning, I was greeted with this- the same issue I had with the Dvarw:

My first thought was that I'd just trash it and go back to the dog, but I cleaned it up and inspected it, took a couple more hits, and figured it was really worth seeing what I did wrong. The vape is just too good to give up that easy.

I know I threw it together hurriedly and pretty sloppy, which never mattered on the dog. Wick was a little long, and I tucked it under the deck. This is very similar to the doggy, but has a ridge around the base of the deck, making it kind of recessed. Maybe this slight overhang of wick causes issues, or maybe I just didn't tighten the tank enough after being used to barely securing the doggy. Not sure what'd cause this just yet.

You can see how much I have tucked under in this pic.

Anyway, I checked the instructions, and saw in the Naturevape video that they recommend a shorter wick (just to the bottom of the channel), so I'm going to try that. Hopefully it won't require too much trimming, fiddling, and precision to be worth it. I'm willing to be a little more patient than with my doggy, because this really is the best, most dense, flavorful hit I've ever had, with the required throat hit. I suspect with all that flavor and throat hit, it may go thru more juice than the doggy (even if it doesn't leak), but obviously to early to tell.

A couple of notes: If you use the screws to trap the coil, you will have to bend them like in his video, because they stick straight outward when you trim, and it'll interfere with the threading, and potentially cause a short. If you're one that does use the afc on the doggy, you'll really like that this one has stops on it. I really like this drip tip, but would prefer something non-clear - if you use NET like me, you'll be cleaning it a lot. I'm really hoping this was just one-off user error, because I really like this thing.

Least yours made it to the US, mine didn’t even make it out of China, it got rejected and sent back to 3fvape, so they have now shipped it out again, glad I ordered from the ‘24 hour ship’ option, so could get faster.....not

btw, it occurs to me that when I post an update on True, I guess I should probably be polite and put it in a new thread, and just post a link here...or someone else can create one if they want. I haven't seen a non-vendor thread for it. This one's already confusing enough being SXK Doggy thread, but SJMY and now 2K18 versions being mixed in! I just thought all you fellow doggy lovers might be interested in it.

Wow! I won the Ehpro True MTL RTA from Heaven Gifts a couple of weeks ago, and just rec'd it. I'm a Doggy lover, thru and thru, for maybe a year, and it's basically all I've been using.

But I just built this thing (same as I do doggy- 316ss 28ga/7 wraps/2.0 id), and it's pretty freakin' awesome. I was kind of surprised because the dome looked a little bigger. This might even be a better vape. So far, I think it is.

About the size of the Doggy, builds & wicks almost exactly the same way, only a little easier because it has wire-trapping (& phillips head screws). And it has top fill, and a truly adjustable air flow (yeah, I know, but doggy's not very easily adjustable- not that it mattered to me). Gotta tell ya, I've only taken a dozen or so hits so far, but it's pretty dog-gone outstanding. I'll post pics & give an update after using a bit more, for those of you considering the 2K18 for the top fill. This one is absolutely worth a look. And without a doubt, the best win I've had here!

    Hmmmmmmm.

I use 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0. All work fine for me, and I can't tell any difference. I use cotton exclusively.

I still like the older V2+L ones, but the later versions lost me (starting with the Mini thing).

    Uh-oh (@Katdarling ). :pop:

IK,R?????????????????? We shall see. I'm all in favor of letting Brew Doggy be our guinea pig.

    ( :censored: off, PETA)

What causes the doggy to be gurgly? Over or underwicking? Haven't had this for ages, but it snuck up on me today.

Did a rayon over wick - gurgly
Did a rayon under wick - gurgly
Did a cotton shove in a pray wick - gurgly
Did a rayon about right wick - a bit gurgly - but so nicotine vaped out from priming all the wicks above I am just putting up with it ;)

Ha! Trick question - NOTHING causes the doggy to be gurgly!
Seriously, I don't think it could be over/underwicking. It gurgles because juice got down in the base between the AF intake below the coil. The main thing that'd cause that is maybe the coil being too close to the hole, or one of the wicks not having "shoulders" that keep it away from the hole. I've only had it a few times, and usually if it was hot in the car, or when flying & pressure changed.

If you turn it upside down and blow thru the drip tip with a vaper towel to catch what comes out of the intake on the ring, it'll fix it. And if it returns, you might have an issue with the wick making contact where it shouldn't near the hole somehow. You've been using them for a while, right? Is this a new thing, or has it been a problem?

Post a couple of pics of your build, and everyone can analyze and criticize you. ;)
